I'm an absolutely Beginner in Filmmaking and vlogging but i love learning from other people. Thats one of the interesting Parts in Filmmaking. For me, this was the most helpful Video about storytelling that i've watched in a long time. Thx for sharing this.
"As I was watching the video, I noticed that the lighting and composition clearly carry your unique touch. I believe you have an artist's soul, and that's why every detail seemed carefully placed, with nothing left to chance. Honestly, I truly admire every artist who integrates their passion into cinematography. I'm sure I will learn a lot from you, and I'm eagerly looking forward to seeing more of your outstanding work."
I did not subscribe to anyone's channel quickly, but your video came in my recommendation feed. Honestly, you have told very well about cinematic videography, from which I will learn to make many new videos. You deserve many subscribers
Probably one of the most helpful and to the point videos on self filming on TH-cam. Commenting in the assumption it may push the algorithm to get the exposure it deserves.
I love that you used Roma for so many of your examples. That film was very inspirational for me. A masterclass in composition, for sure. I’ve shot two feature films all by myself with nobody else to help, the first on my cell phone, and the second on a Panasonic S5, all manual. With two manual vintage lenses. Both became award-winning films. I love all your points, picking the time of day, using natural light, negative space, foreground, etc., etc., this is a great tutorial for anybody who thinks that they are limited because they have only themselves to do the work. At the end of the day, if you have a great story, you are all you need. You have everything right there at your fingertips, whether it’s a phone or a camera, just go out and do it, but do it with intention. Thanks for sharing, I really enjoyed this video.
Tah! It's awesome to see you coming back with a more educative approach on TH-cam! Such a brave move to pivot from your former niche to this one. I have been wondering about your creative process to make not only cinematically aesthetic presentation but also the feel you convey on each of your video! Your filmmaking style is so unique! Kudos for you 😀I am looking forward to seeing more filmmaking and compelling storytelling tips! NB: The way you present the tips makes filmmaking less intimidating. Keep it up, girl! 😉
I was planning to officially announce it after posting about 5 videos on this channel , but you found me here before anyone else, that's so cool !:) Thanks so much. I’ve actually been thinking about making this kind of content since I took a break from social media last year, i'm glad i tried 😊

I love the way you have explained and filmed this video. It’s so easy to understand and grasp. Thank you. Looking forward to seeing more of your content ❤
Awesome video, thank you! I just started making my blog, and I'm actually one of these people who films with iPhone, your tutorials just helped me with new ideas! ❤❤❤
Really enjoyed this video as well! Those locations are beautiful. And it was really enlightening to see you shoot the same story at different times of day and with different composition - all at the same location with the same actors.
Great explanations. You got a subscriber, looking forward to see your growth. I had a a6500 from 2016 until recently upgrading. And you're absolutely right about equipment.
thank you so much, at the beginning i cared a lot about what camera and what lens but then i realized there are many other important aspects i need to practice, to me, camera stuff is probably roughly 10% out of the whole thing 🥺
I love the music choices. I used to be an opera singer before I gave it up in my 20s and voi che was one from my repertoire. I believe you studied finance did you also study film and photography or are you completely self taught because you are very talented?❤
Opera singer !! So cool !! I taught myself filming and photography, I like noticing what they do in movie for visual storytelling - i think that helps a lot for leaning process 😄
I love the how it lacks emotional layer in that part… normally color add emotion to the shot but for only that part that I decided to sit in front of camera and speak about what I think, what I feel so I prefer it to feel raw, not over exaggerating and I love this kind of visual style for that feeling haha
I don’t even know how to turn on a dang camera to start filming! I’m too intimidated. Any tips to make it all seem less daunting would be much appreciated. I feel like I’m holding myself back simply because I don’t even know where to start!
I feel you, I felt same way before. The solution is that you need to have a plan of the story; what to film and how to film before you film, I will make video with more details about this, I’m so related to your situation.
@@tahstory Thanks for the response. There's so much information/content floating around about steps to take, but a lot of them don't take into account the true first baby step, which is, for example, knowing what equipment is needed and how to use it. Or even how to, like you said, plan out a story. (The latter isn't really my issue... it's more the technical things. But that point you made is still VERY relevant.) A video will be much appreciated + I've subscribed.
1 footage is on Sony A6600, and about 5 footages of night scene that i explain the false belief of cinematic quality is shot on Sony A7iv, and the rest is shot on Sony A6400 😊
Good work, although It seems like you've been using different frame rates may be 30 and not 24 which is okay too, trying 24 will work better for human eye to make it seem perfectly natural.
aww thank you so much 😊, you mean my journey of developing the skill in video making ? or my story in general haha i have a video that quite explain a bit of my journey, you can see it on the channel too, it's called "when you are afraid to start over"
Trust me dear, you added the title card CINEMATIC yet you failed to get the basics right. Your entire video isn’t cinematic at all, only film makers can understand what i am talking about. You shot and exported in 60FPS 👎. When we call cinematic the first thing should come to mind is 24FPS then followed by all the concepts you mentioned. Well tried though. All the best
