Upgrading the headlights is a given, as is backup lights. The rearview mirror with camera is not a necessity, but pretty close. I had a Commander. Far too noisy. You can add extra soundproofing behind the seat on these machines. Helps! Actually hated my Commander because it was so loud.
For sure, the commander was a loud bike but I enjoyed it while I had it. I wouldn't go back now. The headlights need to come with LED's the stock ones are pethetic. I just added some additional lighting on the front bumper as well, turns night to day!
Dude yeah nice rack back there!!! I am thinking about getting one just do a lot of mtn trails and not too many videos crawling or climbing much and the 82 hp is just so low…..my outlander atv had 82 hp hahaha anyway thanks for showing what you have done love the ride!
Thanks man! Yeah they’re not fast rigs for sure, the top speed is there, but getting to top speed is a slow process haha! I painted the rack black last night when I got home! Got some plans for Milwaukee pack outs for the rack, but might end up making a steel rack and attach it with the linq mounts instead! See what happens!
NIce review, but I thought the interior would not get much dirt in it. GUESS NOT! I have a 2 door on order, and it's a LIMITED as well. Where did you get the outside mirrors? Mine is supposed to "SHIP" this month.
No they really aren’t sealed well, mud/water easily comes under the doors, and in dusty conditions it gets in the cab. The mirrors are a can am accessory not sure of the SKU #
Hate to break it to you but, but you have a 2023. The 24's have a front dif lock switch beside the rear switch and the 24's no longer have the two tone brown/black upholstery. Also super doubtful anyone will have an actual 24 year model until (maybe) late NOV or DEC if not into next year.
@@scotty4142 I slowed the video and sure enough I saw the front locker. But, you still have the 2023 upholstery. And can you explain what you mean by "factory ordered"? I just got my 2023 3 weeks ago, after having waited 9 months. I was told to get a 2024 would put me perhaps BACK another 4-9 months. HOW did you get your hands on a unit that it clearly a 23.5 when the 2024 are suppose to be a waiting game just like the 2023's were.
New bikes were released on August 20th, dealer took orders on the 21st. I was second on the list from my dealer to order one. Was told October/November for delivery, and 4 bikes showed up early. As for the interior, every picture or video I’ve seen of the ‘24s has the same interior as the ‘23. Not sure where you’re seeing anything different
Your facts are wrong brother. 24’s are being delivered all over the country in the last 2 months and interior there is 2 colors for 24. Let this man enjoy his rig it’s a big purchase .
It’s down behind beacon hill! I haven’t had a machine with a cab on it here in the winter yet, excited to try it out that’s for sure! AC for the last couple weeks has been mint though 👌🏻

They are can am mirrors! I’m not exactly sure what the part # is but can am only makes these ones and the smaller ones. Shouldn’t be hard to track down! A dealer will be able to tell you no problem

No they don’t, it’s meant to stay a enclosed unit. You can remove them but not easily

I got both off of Amazon! The brackets are 1989 Jeep brackets, and the light bar is a 52” curved!

Yeah, it sure is a ‘24 boss. It has the front diff lock switch. I factory ordered it, it’s a 2024

His upholstery is right the grey interior only comes on the red model in 24. My 24 has brown as well! Nice machine brother

I’ve heard the heat and AC doesn’t work as well as the Polaris ranger North Star? Any input? Thanks
I’m happy with the heat and AC so far, haven’t been in a North Star so I can’t really compare the two, but the heat is great in the defender
