I used to knock the vico kock. Not so much anymore. They are reliable and they keep you from breaking cv joints. Full axle. Yes definitely front lockers.

@@unclebilly1353 I don’t mind the Visco lock unless it get in a sticky situation and I need to crawl slowly. Then it will shoot your front end off or do nothing at all. So you end up breaking an axle from trying to use momentum.

@americandream_89 good point. In my case, I have a defender hd10 limited. And I mostly trail ride in the desert. Watching sunset with the wife and dogs. The only reason I use 4-wheel drive. Is it because you should for maintenance . Once, I pull my truck out from being stuck.

Great video, it’s so hard to choose between machines these days, as I get older I want comfort, quiet, performance and ride quality. I’ve owned several ranger xp 1000s but I’d like heat and ac so I can ride in all weather conditions.

I saw the teaser videos on the Kawasaki Ridge. The 4 cylinder looks promising but the shocks in the video seem pretty bad considering the competition and current level of performance on recent models

Happy Saturday buddy to you and your family. I’m sure that you know this, but your wiper fluid was leaking inside your Polaris. Another great video and really liked the trail riding part.

@@americandream_89 that’s awesome that they do that. I just didn’t know that the cab system is tight enough to prevent water from getting inside. I’m glad that the kids love it too. I look forward to the trails. It’s been raining and cold lately in MI, and the weather is predicting snow this Tuesday here. The old saying in MI is, give the weather 10 mins and it could change. @1gr8oil good luck with it . I have the 2021 hd10 limited. One tip. Changed the front bushings out with the UHMW ones. And keep your arms greased. I have over 10 thousand miles on mine . First belt 6 thousand miles. I have put a lot of up grades on mine. Like zbroz stage 3 shocks. New steering rack and tie rods. . Things to make my ride more reliable and more comfortable. My wife and I are retired and use this machine to spend time in the back country. But the maintenance is expensive. New clutch and belt tires next week. Preparing it for Colorado and Utah. I wish you the best of luck with your new ride. It's a great platform for a lot a different outdoor activities.

Go just a bit farther south to Windrock. You want find these smooth trails down there. Rocks, rocks and big rocks. A lot of trails in this area, between Royal Blue, TWRA, Windrock etc etc. You need a 10" Samsung tablet with Orux and Back Country Navigator.

I’m planning to go to black mountain and a few others. Some are going to blue royal last weekend in December. I usually take my family on trips so it’s hard to do anything to treacherous. I like a challenge but I’ve also been at this long enough I can look and know what the machine can and can’t.

What’s dripping at the top of your windshield, is it washer fluid or is the roof leaking ? I have a lot of problems with my defender’s roof/windshield and wiper fluid all leaking .

Just got my xpedition xp. Noisy as hell. You cannot have a conversation in this thing unless you are parked. Very disappointed for what I paid. Literally ear damaging noise…over 90db cruising. I only went around the block and had to park it. Suppose I will be stuck with it. Make sure you test drive before buying anything. I bought it over the phone expecting this thing to be a nice quiet cab and the dealership loaded it so I didn’t even get into it before I got home. Hopefully Polaris comes through with some kinda fix, but I’m not going to hold my breath.
