68 Coronet R/T before and after Glasspacks

My 68 R/T before and after exhaust was changed from stock style mufflers to Glasspacks. All the rest of the exhaust was left alone others than fixing the Left tailpipe that was hanging down a bit. #mopar #bbody #bigblock #glasspacks #68coronet #musclecar

I love this color too. Hard to believe the 68 R/T started its life off as a white stripe delete car with red interior. About as plain Jane as a 68 Coronet R/T could be. Glad you found my channel and like my car. Thanks for the support.

@@Millersmopars My first car was a 1968 Plymouth Valiant Signet Brougham, 2 dr 318 posi in Aztec with dark red interior. I'm considering painting my '74 Dart Sport Aztec. Gotta keep those old Mopars rolling.

In 1973 I bought my cousins 1969 Roadrunner that had pretty much worn out glasspacks. Took it around the local Hardees and a cop that was inside went and followed me. He said when I went around the windows inside vibrated. He just let me off with a warning though. That week I had new mufflers installed.

That’s a great story, I had a 69 Roadrunner got a ticket for running headers and glasspacks. I guess at that time it was illegal 🤷‍♂️

I don’t think I’ve owned an old car that I haven’t put glasspacks on. I even put them on my 2015 pickup. 😂 I love the sound of them.

Yep I have a 69 440 hp block I’m going to build for it but I’m concentrating on my 69 Super Bee. Once it’s back on the road I’ll start on that 440
