I think that’s a great thing about Hot Ones, they completely blow passed every FAQ otherwise the only reason to watch hot ones is to point and laugh at the heat reactions
@@StonedCabbage He is a great actor besides MCU films. One of my favorites is definitely, he did an outstanding job in I, Tonya portraying Jeff Gillooly, and his work in The Last Full Measure & We Have Always Lived in the High Castle is fantastic.

I love how Sean doesn’t focus on a person’s BIGGEST career moments, and is asking genuinely interesting questions instead of asking questions others hear 100 times. And Sebastian Stan is just iconic. So charming, sweet, and insightful.
That's why we love him and that's why celebrities actually often seek the opportunity to get on the show. Because who the hell wants to answer the same ol' boring questions about the exact same projects... Like we get it, MCU is a huge part of his career, but Jesus, it didn't start there and it definitely not going to end there. Plus there's never awkward, personal, intrusive questions with him too, which I think celebrities really find refreshing (as we do, I hate some "journalists" and their questions, ugh).

Instead of being hammered stupid questions from people who haven't the foggiest idea who the person is that they are interviewing. And Sean is just as charming and awesome. It was beautiful seeing them together! I think it made Sebastian's day haha!!
I'm impressed by Sean's charisma. He's always able to make the celebrities feel comfortable and engaged in just a few moments. And Sebastian Stan is an idol! He's just great.
It’s so wonderful seeing Sebastian being so calm and talkative in this. Especially because he’s mentioned in the past that he’s really introverted and struggled with witty banter in interviews, which is why Mackie was paired up with him for the interview circuit. Sean proves again and again that he is an amazing interviewer, and his team show they really care about the people they bring on and find questions they’ve never been asked before.
I bet that's a typical feeling on the Hot Ones set, but it's probably a very refreshing change of pace from the MCU press tours where you're asked the same eleven questions ten thousand times by ten thousand reporters, and not really being able to say much about the project.

When seabass talked about scenes with less dialogue made me realize he’s one of the current at best at relaying unsaid emotion. Even as Winter Soldier he’s great at it.
@clairemarquez6971 I honestly hope he meant that as a joke. I know I've used that joke plenty of times when a movie or show makes me cry and that is about when the sauces made him start crying.
I giggled a bit, but mostly, I felt bad for him. I grew up with hot sauce on the table for dinner. I tasted some of them, and I immediately started coughing and crying. I didn’t try any more hot sauce until I became a teenager. I even ate hot link sandwiches with hot sauce. Yes, it burned like hell, but again, I was a teenager. My friends dared me to do it, and like a dummy, I did it. And I paid for that mistake a few minutes afterwards.🤢🤮 My mother hated the stuff, but my father would start complaining about dinner unless there was a display of his various favorite hot sauce bottles on the table. (This was back in 60s, before the Women’s Liberation Movement. He did eventually help with setting the table, though.) I don’t know if that had anything to with Women’s Lib Movement, or if he just became tired of my mother complaining about the hot sauce bottles taking up too much space on the table. “There’s barely enough room for the food!” So he would choose one bottle, and put the rest up. I never understood why he didn’t put that one bottle on the table in the first place. He knew how meticulous Mom was about everything being orderly, including family mealtimes!
I was having mini panick attacks whenever Sebastian was going near his eyes. Sebastian needs to be interviewed like this, where questions are thoughtful because he is super talented. Great job Sean, as always!
It’s really not a joke of how great Sean is as an interviewer. These people have been through millions of interviews and they always are so impressed with his research and questions because it is different, insightful and more about the person versus the typical Hollywood narratives. I love it.

Plus he never shames them or breaks their trust. He asked questions that we love to hear as an audience but he doesn't ask abusive questions. When Tom Holland was on the show, Sean did not ask him any spoiler related questions and I really liked that.
It's important to note that Sean also has a lot more time to prepare for interviews than most other people. In a typical press junket or media day that celebrities do, there's no time to deep dive on books they've written, podcasts they've been on, etc. Not to mention the actors' publicists usually have a specific topic that the interviewer is not allowed to stray far from. Hot Ones is allowed to be a lot more freeform than a typical interview.
I’ve watched quite a bit of Sebastian’s interviews (bc i was obsessed with Falcon & Winter Soldier) & this is by the far most comfortable I’ve seen him in a solo interview (he obviously flourishes when Mackie’s around but he seems more relaxed). Just shows how awesome of a interviewer Sean is
My absolute favorite part of this show is how hesitant and awkward celebs are in the beginning until they realize how serious/deep the questions are and then - INSTANT COMFORT. Just magical to watch. Also “I guess I’m having salad tonight” SENT. ME. A+++ as always

I love how Sean never puts himself over his interviewees concerning dealing with the hot wings. He always takes a sip of milk when his interviewee does so he/she doesn't feel bad or weak in any kind of way, also he always comforts them that taking a sip of that milk is not weak or something like that at all. Also he always takes similar bites of the wings and waits for his interviewee to take his/her bite.

Some may see him from Marvel as the winter soldier, some may see him from gossip girls, but I will remember from when he was in “Once upon a time” as the mad hatter.
He actually seems like a pretty grounded, intelligent guy. That is not always the case with movie stars and its great to see. I especially like that he sounds like to be very into the artistery of his profession. He seems like a really nice dude.

Heck of an actor right there. I've really loved him in every project he's done, big or small and his choice of roles is incredible. I'm glad Sean brought up the topic of acting without lines, probably referencing Captain America-The Winter Soldier. Seb's portrayal of Winter Soldier made that character truly unsettling, and without having to utter anything. I truly believe that any other actor would have ruined the character. Seb's interviews have ALWAYS been highly entertaining, and this Hot Ones entry has been my favorite. I've always enjoyed "non-celebrity" questions, and pairing Sean and Seb was a treat. He generally seems to be a class act and serious about his craft. I believe that his varied acting choices will eventually lead to an Oscar nomination. Currently enjoying him in Pam & Tommy....watch it, if you have the chance.
I am absolutely agreeing with you about acting without lines. The scene in falcon and the Winter soldier, the flashback where Ayo is proving that Bucky is deprogrammed is one of the MCU’s best acted scenes, ever.

Could not agree any more with Sean Evans' dad, Winter Soldier is easily one of the best superhero movies out there and what has gotten me into the MCU in the first place.
Its a good movie but the best one? i would have to disagree iron man is in my opinion the best one it also started the mcu and robert downey is simply epic in that one
The one thing I continuously appreciate is the fact that the interview questions really allow the actors or artists to tell us something that we haven't heard in every other standard interview. I find their answers to be genuine and not some publicist approved spiel. They, themselves, tend to always be impressed that the questions aren't, 'why do you love acting,' and then combine that with the searing pain of the hotter wings, they relax and laugh and it just makes for a really good interview.

Big fan of Sebastian Stan, ever since I saw him in the first Captain America movie, I thought to myself "I really hope they bring him back somehow, because everybody knows no one really dies that abruptly in superhero movies." AND HE DID, quickly becoming one of my top 3 favorite actors/characters in the MCU. Great episode, Papa Evans is spot on with CA:TWS being (one of) the best superhero movies.
I would love a travel food show with Sebastian and Anthony. If they explored Europe they could go to Germany especially Berlin and rope in Daniel Bruhl for some episodes to France & Spain since he’s multi lingual (Spanish, Catalan, French) co-owns a tapas bar in the city and the energy between the three of them is great. Who doesn’t want to see The Falcon, the Winter Soldier and Baron Zemo together again?

This is genuinely one of my favorite episodes ever. Sebastian seems like such a humble, kind guy and i love when people acknowledge how impressive Sean is. 10/10 episode, FWF.
As an aspiring actor myself, the questions about sebastian’s journey into breaking into the industry and how important it is to train and study and his views on scriptwriting are hugely appreciated since we never hear much about how an actor got to the stage they’re at in their career.

Awwwww, Sebastian seems like such a genuinely great guy. This was a nice interview! I always love when the guest is so blown away by Sean’s questions, it really warms my heart. Most press tours are the actor answering the same fucking questions over and over again, knowing the interviewer probably doesn’t care about them as a person, so I know it’s a breathe of fresh air….well, sort of hahaha… to come on Hot Ones. (You’re great, Sean!)

First off, I agree with Papa Evans that "Winter Soldier" is the best Marvel movie precisely for the reasons mentioned. It is awesome as a standalone and awesome as a fundamental movie to move the whole universe forward. But more importantly secondly: Sebastian Stan is just everything. He's just great. I think that’s a great thing about Hot Ones, they completely blow passed every FAQ otherwise the only reason to watch hot ones is to point and laugh at the heat reactions

I love how Sean doesn’t focus on a person’s BIGGEST career moments, and is asking genuinely interesting questions instead of asking questions others hear 100 times. And Sebastian Stan is just iconic. So charming, sweet, and insightful.
That's why we love him and that's why celebrities actually often seek the opportunity to get on the show. Because who the hell wants to answer the same ol' boring questions about the exact same projects... Like we get it, MCU is a huge part of his career, but Jesus, it didn't start there and it definitely not going to end there. Plus there's never awkward, personal, intrusive questions with him too, which I think celebrities really find refreshing (as we do, I hate some "journalists" and their questions, ugh).

It’s so wonderful seeing Sebastian being so calm and talkative in this. Especially because he’s mentioned in the past that he’s really introverted and struggled with witty banter in interviews, which is why Mackie was paired up with him for the interview circuit. Sean proves again and again that he is an amazing interviewer, and his team show they really care about the people they bring on and find questions they’ve never been asked before.

I giggled a bit, but mostly, I felt bad for him. I grew up with hot sauce on the table for dinner. I tasted some of them, and I immediately started coughing and crying. I didn’t try any more hot sauce until I became a teenager. I even ate hot link sandwiches with hot sauce. Yes, it burned like hell, but again, I was a teenager. My friends dared me to do it, and like a dummy, I did it. And I paid for that mistake a few minutes afterwards.🤢🤮 My mother hated the stuff, but my father would start complaining about dinner unless there was a display of his various favorite hot sauce bottles on the table. (This was back in 60s, before the Women’s Liberation Movement. He did eventually help with setting the table, though.) I don’t know if that had anything to with Women’s Lib Movement, or if he just became tired of my mother complaining about the hot sauce bottles taking up too much space on the table. “There’s barely enough room for the food!” So he would choose one bottle, and put the rest up. I never understood why he didn’t put that one bottle on the table in the first place. He knew how meticulous Mom was about everything being orderly, including family mealtimes!

Plus he never shames them or breaks their trust. He asked questions that we love to hear as an audience but he doesn't ask abusive questions.
When Tom Holland was on the show, Sean did not ask him any spoiler related questions and I really liked that.
Yet we still get comments like 300 hot ones episodes later as if its something new xD
It's important to note that Sean also has a lot more time to prepare for interviews than most other people. In a typical press junket or media day that celebrities do, there's no time to deep dive on books they've written, podcasts they've been on, etc. Not to mention the actors' publicists usually have a specific topic that the interviewer is not allowed to stray far from. Hot Ones is allowed to be a lot more freeform than a typical interview.
I’ve watched quite a bit of Sebastian’s interviews (bc i was obsessed with Falcon & Winter Soldier) & this is by the far most comfortable I’ve seen him in a solo interview (he obviously flourishes when Mackie’s around but he seems more relaxed). Just shows how awesome of a interviewer Sean is

I love how Sean never puts himself over his interviewees concerning dealing with the hot wings. He always takes a sip of milk when his interviewee does so he/she doesn't feel bad or weak in any kind of way, also he always comforts them that taking a sip of that milk is not weak or something like that at all. Also he always takes similar bites of the wings and waits for his interviewee to take his/her bite.
I know right! I noticed that especially in this video. He hesitates to take a bite and looks at the interviewee to see when they are biting in.
He had also made it a rule to take each step with the guest--such a gracious host.
Some people are just naturally thoughtful and Sean is definitely one of those people.

Heck of an actor right there. I've really loved him in every project he's done, big or small and his choice of roles is incredible. I'm glad Sean brought up the topic of acting without lines, probably referencing Captain America-The Winter Soldier. Seb's portrayal of Winter Soldier made that character truly unsettling, and without having to utter anything. I truly believe that any other actor would have ruined the character. Seb's interviews have ALWAYS been highly entertaining, and this Hot Ones entry has been my favorite. I've always enjoyed "non-celebrity" questions, and pairing Sean and Seb was a treat. He generally seems to be a class act and serious about his craft. I believe that his varied acting choices will eventually lead to an Oscar nomination. Currently enjoying him in Pam & Tommy....watch it, if you have the chance.

The one thing I continuously appreciate is the fact that the interview questions really allow the actors or artists to tell us something that we haven't heard in every other standard interview. I find their answers to be genuine and not some publicist approved spiel. They, themselves, tend to always be impressed that the questions aren't, 'why do you love acting,' and then combine that with the searing pain of the hotter wings, they relax and laugh and it just makes for a really good interview.

Big fan of Sebastian Stan, ever since I saw him in the first Captain America movie, I thought to myself "I really hope they bring him back somehow, because everybody knows no one really dies that abruptly in superhero movies." AND HE DID, quickly becoming one of my top 3 favorite actors/characters in the MCU. Great episode, Papa Evans is spot on with CA:TWS being (one of) the best superhero movies.
Fun fact: Sebastian Stan is Anastasia Beverly hill’s godson.
I would love a travel food show with Sebastian and Anthony. If they explored Europe they could go to Germany especially Berlin and rope in Daniel Bruhl for some episodes to France & Spain since he’s multi lingual (Spanish, Catalan, French) co-owns a tapas bar in the city and the energy between the three of them is great.

Awwwww, Sebastian seems like such a genuinely great guy. This was a nice interview! I always love when the guest is so blown away by Sean’s questions, it really warms my heart. Most press tours are the actor answering the same fucking questions over and over again, knowing the interviewer probably doesn’t care about them as a person, so I know it’s a breathe of fresh air….well, sort of hahaha… to come on Hot Ones. First off, I agree with Papa Evans that "Winter Soldier" is the best Marvel movie precisely for the reasons mentioned. It is awesome as a standalone and awesome as a fundamental movie to move the whole universe forward.
But more importantly secondly: Sebastian Stan is just everything. He's just great. I can't wait for even more awesome things he will do with his career.
I think everybody knows its their best film to date.
