There isn't enough time to bond with anyone. Talk about being uneducated both mentally and emotionally. No, they aren't the same thing, but you can try to say they are if you want. That doesn't make it true.

Sean trying to match/mimic his guests is one of his best qualities as a host. He never tries to outdo them and he never backs out of a challenge either. Another fantastic episode!
I’m not sure why, but Sean looked like a skinny version of Dr Evil from Austin Powers in this episode
He's just like Conan a reason why so many people are able to be comfortable on the show
What's really interesting is going back to the first season, watching the first four or five episodes, you can actually see Sean and his team get stuff wrong... Incomplete research, closed questions that don't invite elaboration, even him competing with the guests and belittling them a tiny bit around their reactions to the sauce... Then you see them learn, evolve and become the best 121 interview format out there in my opinion. I really appreciated seeing how they learnt, grew and adapted.
It’s a trust exercise. He learned early on that some guests thought they were being pranked or goaded. He traded boards with Neil Degrasse Tyson.

The way he put quotes around, “do my own stunts” was pretty humble for someone who does his own stunts. The fact that he gives them so much credit for choreography is pretty cool.

@@JDflight24 Im a chili-head, at the point where there is no room my fridge door for anything else, its packed with sauces! “Da Bomb” is one sauce that I’ve never tried, but whenever I try to find it, it looks different, the bottle isn’t _that_ bottle, I would really like to see if the hype is legit.

As someone who has actually made that mistake IRL, with Franks....I go full cringe each time a guest gets anywhere close to their eyes. That pain will never be forgotten.
I love the fact that his accent got thicker later on when the heat really got to him. This show brings out people's true personalities it's perfect

Hemsworth seems like a genuinely nice guy.
I met him once on a job. He was really just a super likeable dude that chatted with everyone he worked with. He had a super tight schedule though and a whole entourage that kinda kept him seperated and pushed his timetable.
He probably is, but be wary of the Halo Effect.

I've always liked Chris, but I've got to say, I was lucky I was able to do some stunt work on the MIB movie he starred in and since then I've been such a huge fan of him. He was a complete gent to us 'nobodies' and joked around and had fun between scenes and interacted with us all. One specific memory was him jumping in front of the car I was driving in a scene with a mouthful of sandwich and making a fake gun with his hands and pretended to shoot at me. So cool. Cheers Chris!
I love how Sean always does what his guest do. He never makes them feel bad for drinking or anything. Such a great host!!!!!
What's even greater to me is his trauma response, when he gets an iron clad guest he keeps lock step with them. I have to assume when a guest caves and goes for the relief, he has to also on a small scale be semi relieved as well lol.

You can literally watch the progression of the interview and how what they created makes for the best interview. The guest is always reserved and somewhat generic in their answers but then the magic happens halfway through and their real personality comes out and it is so much more entertaining to watch.

I have supported that team since I was three years old, and after so many years of witnessing them struggle I never thought I would see them even play in the Grand Final of AFL, let alone WIN THE WHOLE THING!!! With tears in my eyes I was so surprised and delighted to see Chris and his family in the team rooms celebrating the breaking of the then longest premiership drought in the history of Australian Rules Football. What an incredible ambassador for Australia, the AFL and the best footy team in the world, the BULLDOGS!!
As a Sydney supporter, I was actually so happy that bulldogs won as it was such a long time for them and well deserved being the dark horses. Unfortunately Bulldogs isn’t the longest drought though as Sydney had a drought for 72 years. But I had the same feeling when they won in 2005, literal tears in my eyes and couldn’t stop screaming. It’s a whole other feeling isn’t it.

Several years ago, a guy found a wallet, on the ground, picked it up, thought it might be a fake ID, but had a lot of money in it, drove to the address, on the ID, after knocking on the door, after being let in through the security gate, Chris Hemsworth opens the door, invites the guy in. After finding out, the guy took nothing from the wallet, gave the guy, half the money, had him stay for dinner and drinks and told him, if ever needed anything else, to contact him.
