This is probably, in an ironic twist, one of tom’s most comfortable interviews. Didn’t have to worry about Sean pressuring him for spoilers. Just great conversation.
I knew before the interview started that Sean would not betray Tom Holland's Trust. My only worry with the Tom Holland wood just spontaneously blurt out some key spoiler. " yes all of us actors who played Spider-Man were sitting together on our break during this big scene and..."
This is why I love Hot Ones. Sean never asks personal questions like relationships and stuff about the new movies. He actually dives into their previous experiences and how they were for him and just lets’s them go for it.
I thought that there was a lot more of Tom’s work that Sean could have dug into. Sean stuck with Billy Elliot, the Impossible and Spider-Man. All already covered topics.

Absolutely. Most other interviewers probably would have asked about the recent reveal about his relationship with Zendaya. Sean is such an awesome guy though that's such low hanging fruit he'd never go for. He asks the real questions.
Despite the “celebrity crush” I have on Tom, I do think he is such a well spoken gentleman. He’s always grateful, present in the moment, kind and funny. There is just something that l admire about him but I don’t know how to describe it. We need more celebrities like him.
He is a professional, he knows Disney wouldn't have let them release any spoilers and if they did anyway, they would put "Hot Ones" on their press junket black list. There's too much to lose and too little to gain.
Usually when celebrities go on shows for interviews, their agent or someone will tell them what the interviewer can and can't ask. If they ask a question that they said not to ask, the interview can be cut short. Sometimes the interviewer will try and ask anyway but I doubt anyone wants to get on Disney's shitlist.
Sean never disappoints. He always treats his guests like people and doesnt ask them the same questions everyother interviewer does. Mad respect as always.
Yeah really. I'm sure Holland is pretty sick of talking about his relationship or Spiderman spoilers. He just let the kid eat wings and have some fun, lol it's great!

I would really like to see Cumberbatch on Hot Ones. He has so many interesting stories to tell, he’d be an excellent guest! Especially with Sean’s propensity to ask wonderful questions
This is an instant classic. It reminds me of Shawn Mendes, where things also “got real” in a hurry. At one point I actually said, “I love you” out loud (to Tom).

I’m so impressed by this entire interview. Tom going back for seconds is so impressive. And Sean’s professionalism is incomparable. Thoroughly loved it!
Sean truly is one of the best interviewers this world has ever known. Even knowing full well how bad Tom is at keeping secrets and how he's always dropping spoilers for his movies, Sean never tried to pry for any information or trick Tom into dropping any spoilers once! Respect to Sean & Tom. National treasures to thier lands! No, international treasures!!

He sounds like "we are on the same football team" kind of guy
@@pininja4981 I think he's one of the best for a few reasons. The way he befriends you & asks a double question that always has a follow up asking to explain your answer is great! People actually want to go on the show to be interviewed by him & a multitude of guests have said it was the best interview they've ever had! Most interviewers are too generic & robotic & ask all the same questions as the rest, making them all the same boring interviews. I'm much more likely to open up and be honest with a friendly guy from my football team over some wings, than some suit that gets paid to pry for information ;) Plus, not a lot of other interviews ever get the amount of views or good stories out of thier guests than this show does! The Gordon Ramsay episode is about to hit 100 MILLION views.. That's crazy! Where else do interviews hit 100 mil views? Lol. I respect your opinion, but the exact reason I think he is so good is because he's not like all the generic "Professional" interviewers. For those concerned, surprisingly, against his natural character Tom didn't end up spoiling anything in No Way Home in this interview. Feel free to watch in comfort!
@@videoket There's a good compilation of him spoiling stuff in interviews. It's about 10 minutes long. While I would argue some of the clips didn't belong in there I'd say there was enough to earn him the rep haha. Could all be a marketing gimmick though. Some definitely is for sure.
Tom is extremely talented. The world loves him as Spider-Man, and I feel he knows he’s popular for his role in the Marvel universe. I think he’ll always stay humble, which is part of the reason why everyone loves him so much.
I love how Robert Downey Jr really was like a role model for Tom Holland, it just makes their duo mean so much more rather than it just being for films, the fact that Robert has really done alot for Tom shows how caring he is, what a fantastic ending
I think Downey saw how massive Tom was going to be, kids charismatic as hell, and given his own struggles with fame/life in his younger days, tried to impart some wisdom on how to navigate the crazy world of celebrity as a young man.
I love how the interviewer asked such like good, deep questions that really made him think and like they weren’t just asking him like, “what’s ur fav movie…🐸”
Saw a reddit post on TIFU saying a guy thought Tom was an extra. After dumbly realizing who he was in the conversation he apologized profusely and Tom was so nonchalant about it. He's a genuine dude. Not letting his fame affect him too much
There's one little detail in this interview that speaks volume about the character of this great kid, when he talks about his audition for Star Wars and not getting the role, he specifies that him laughing wasn't likely to be the reason but rather another fellow actor being better than him for the role.
i mean, there’s no reason for tom to be salty about it anymore - they butchered the latest trilogy and reduced boyega’s role so much it was laughable on the other hand tom’s playing the lead role as arguably the most popular superhero of all time in the most highly anticipated movie this year, so i bet he couldn’t give less of a fuck now

Mad respect to Tom’s answer to the Star Wars question. First thing he does is kind of correct the question by saying that his laughing during an audition didn’t cause him to lose the part. It was that John Boyega was better.
And it's true; I can't imagine anyone but John Boyega pulling off that role so well. I would love to see Tom Holland in some kind of Star Wars content, though.
4 months after this has aired, and after watching this episode about 20 times it just dawned on me that after he ate the first wing, he licked the fingers he used to pick up the hottest wing. I had been wondering for so long why he thought the first one was so spicy LOL!
@@vincebl9899 "They put the sauce on the hottest one themselves so that they can guage/decide how much hot sauce is on the wing" I believe is what he or she meant... Sean is really a good sport for not trying to get spoilers out of Tom and just having a genuine interview!
He is a professional, he knows Disney wouldn't have let them release any spoilers and if they did anyway, they would put "Hot Ones" on their press junket black list. There's too much to lose and too little to gain.
tom doesn't give spoilers.. 😄
