sound like it ran better than any other engine I've heard for an RC car
It definitely sounds incredible
An inline-6 engine has good primary and secondary balance. When you stick another one next to it to make a V12 that is retained, except now you have twice the power pulses. If you do a good job mating the two I6s you don't even introduce any new sources of vibration.
That, together with the sheer number of power strokes per revolution, makes a V12 an incredibly smooth-running platform, removing many of the challenges that come with scaling down combustion engines like that.
Low rpm engine. It sounds like it’s revving, but….
Color me IMPRESSED!! Someone finally did it right! I can't believe it started that easily with spark ignition. If this is what Dennis is hiding under that towel in his last video, I can't wait to see what he does with it. I think the fact that it has a fair amount of displacement (50cc), and 9.5-1 compression, promotes much easier starting. It also sounds very even firing.. no dead cylinders, and instant throttle response! Well done!😉👍
Yeah man, it's amazing. Starts well and performs great throughout the rev range
I actually think it is glow plugs, but still...
@@vespass225 the cdi is for spark ignition.
@@alanmeyers3957 Even more fascinating then, wow!!
finally just a normal engine built correctly, may need a little more cooling passage space. Great. i am looking to package this in something, got one a 3/4ths or 2/3rds scale? Running gasoline?
Yeah running 95 gas
I can't wait to see what you build around it... gotta admit, I love a motor but I love a motor more when it's actually doing what it's made to do (going fast)
Yeah for sure mate

You should make a proper equal length exhaust manifold with collectors and all. Curious what that would sound like.
The manufacturer has thought this through. Your experience in set up fills any gaps..
Truly a work of art, thanks for the post. Try 98 octane, might be cooler.
Don't pull it apart please! 🙏🇦🇺
Much appreciated brother. Yeah, great idea regarding the fuel
@@RCTanksTrucks247 Just an FYI, if you have a small local airport, you can probably buy 100 LL aircraft gas that would run nicely!
it runs best on 101
@@danw1955 Probably not a good idea to be breathing in leaded fuel all the time.
@@77Dok77 100 LL designates 100 octane Low Lead, which just has the bare minimum for valve stem lubrication on aircraft engines. No worse than whatever concoction they have for lube in that nitro RC fuel.🤪
Chuanqi's engines are absolutely elite, it seems like theyre getting the recognition they desereve , they now have a clutch and 4 speed transmittion. You should check it out 👍
Yeah absolutely, they are incredibly good
Outstanding throttle response, almost can't believe how well it revs. Looks to be the best of the little big engines, possibly better than the Enjomor V8.
Wishlist for 2.0 version (nitpicks/concerns):
1) Considerably smokier than expected. I saw during development he went from a single ring to adding a second ring made out of Teflon. Adding an oil scraping ring might make for a good upgrade.
2) No oil pump or oil filter. I think I might have seen that this could be upgradable but either way it's a shame it's not built in yet.
3) Having color choices is nice but I'm thinking 90% of people would want the Black Version with the red valve covers, and/or the all silver.
4) I saw original estimates of this engine costing around $2,300, and now it looks like it's hundreds more. I get inflation and the economy sucks and all but I really wish a company like this could get investment in a really large production run to bring down the costs. Imagine breaking price barriers for this engine, first 1999.99, then 1499.99, then someday this engine for 999.99.
Maybe long time followers of this particular Hobby are having a good laugh at the prices I'm wishing for, but it's hard not to believe that anything that's really successful could not also be made affordable if there is enough demand for it.
1. The carb was not adjusted, I have leaned it out and the smoke has gone. That was only the second time it was run.
2. Maybe in the next model? Seems to work well.
3. Well it is not a bad thing at all. Choices are always great.
4. Can't say much about the cost but there is many hours of work plus the quality of parts etc
You probably want to buy the Empire State Building for $999 too.
@@크리스탈크리스탈-g1r Do I wish for prices of these engines to go down in the future? Absolutely. It doesn't mean that I don't appreciate the value and craftsmanship that goes into them now, even at their current prices. For years the best miniature engine was the Conley v8 at around $10,000. In the past year or so a couple of awesome big little engines have come out that are a fraction of that price.
Even though they cost a lot less now, I still can't afford them. So sure, I hope one day enough people will come to the hobby leading to lower prices as the natural result.
@@크리스탈크리스탈-g1r not empire state but seeing as my 3 litre v6 c class 2004 mercedes cost me 1000 id say that these prices are a joke china can defo make these for 50 bucks
I agree, I miss an oil filter.
Whoa what an awesome little unit! I'd love to hear how it sounds with a proper, tuned set of long tube headers & suitable mufflers!
As you you say - it's gonna need a pretty good transmission of some sort to run in an actual vehicle or machine.
Yeah hopefully a transmission comes up soon
Sounds like the real deal. The stress load on a small transmission to fit the scale is gonna be a real test. Please give it multiple gears. Cameras won't be able to keep up with the scale run in a vehicle but it sounds real not even based on scale reference
That's so cool! I have a 6 liter Mercedes. Bored-out 27 l by AMG n put back together. SL600 roadster... The motor is a work of art. As a CNC machinist whoever made that that's really cool
Wow, that's awesome bro
YES!! This is just stunning brother! the quality is top notch! we have had our issues with all the other engines on the market when I seen the smile on your face I knew its the best of the best! lol😁😁😁😁
Absolutely brother! This one is definitely on the top step. It runs and sounds awesome. Quality is fantastic. Definitely put a smile on my face!
I read a little and like this line.
“ Our vision is to apply all the different structures of internal combustion to our model engines, and suit them to real applications other than a desktop toy”. 👍
i wonder how fast a scooter would go with this one in it =D
Hmm gearing would definitely need to be spot on
Or a kids power wheels corvette or something for a kid
Very slow?
We go from real cars going electric to rc going v12 :) thanks for the video
Haha yeah that's true
That's really nice, looks like great quality. I shouldn't look at this , we have 5 V8s . 360 Chrysler, 318 Chrysler, 327 chev, 2 LS Chevys and a 318 im going to build on the stand. Dam it the wife already seen this , she's going to want one for sure sure.
Haha, the struggle is real brother
Awesome. Got a feeling Dennis will be unveiling this, we’ll see lol. That thing has a much longer rev range than the Toyan. 🤩. Nice. Maybe just maybe this company will put it all together. Thanks for sharing mate!. 💪😎
Fingers crossed!
You ought to get a lambo rc car built around that engine, that would be awesome
Yeah, absolutely
That has to be one of the most well balanced mini motors I’ve ever seen and heard. Not all of those engines are as trigger happy as this one.
Yeah absolutely mate. They have done a fantastic job
Yeah the more banks or more cylinders the smoother it will run..
That’s because V12s like Inline-6 and Flat-6 engines are naturally perfectly balanced. Unlike Inline-3, Inline-4, Inline-5, V6, V8 or V10 engines they don’t need balance shafts or clever engineering to hide their vibrations, because they don’t really have any.
Sounds fantastic I can see the steam off the water
Sounds amazing
Wow that sounds so life size. My son put me onto your channel he believes your amazing and I see why. Thanks for sharing this knowledge with us all. Brilliant truly
.❤ From New Zealand ❤️
Much appreciated bro. Thank you for your support and glad you like it
Impressive , and Also incredibly impressed at the water pump very very effective
Yeah, works extremely well
A Super cool engine This engine would be ideal for a boat it would be difficult to install in something else but they plan to make a transmission box I am curious to see what you will do with it 👍
Yeah I am interested in the gearbox for sure
@@RCTanksTrucks247 Can't wait to see what Johny Q does with it!
Looking to put one of these in a boat!! What size boat would you recommend for this one?
I imagine a 1\5 scale gas boat something like a blackjack 55 But I don't know I haven't really measured it's possible to make a custom hull Personally, that is the direction I will look. also use a system with gear to use several props which would turn faster than the engine speed
WOW!! the sound, omfg!! And even better it ACTUALLY runs as it should. amazing
Yeah man, absolutely!
That's amazing! 😮 you said about putting it in an rc, what about building your own 1:5th Dragster? I know you have it in you!
How bout a drag boat 🚢
That would be cool!
I have been wanting to do a v8 scale monster with either Toyan v8 or Enjemor v8. Now I want to slap this on an Arrma 1/7 chassis with a lambo body!!!!!
Yeah man! Yes, that's amazing
Perfect for a skateboard
Haha v12 skateboard
Hat's off to you and your technical mind. I can understand the enormous energy you have utilised and the happiness you got of it
Nice from Jawaharlal Bharath India 🙏
Much appreciated brother
I am surprised that Luc ray isn’t around when you get these engines
😊
I wonder why does it smokes, considering the fuel is oil free. In my engines I use Coleman Liquid fuel. It burns cleans and engine revs excellent. This would have been a perfect engine if it had proper lubrication system. Splash lubrication for a high revving v12 is not ideal long term.
The CDI model revs quite nicely. The build quality surpasses other Chinese manufacturers.
Thank you!
Coleman fuel does not have to meet any anti knock specifications and has caused preignition in many engines. Use canned gasoline made for small engines.
Oil control is hard in small engines. Probably valves without stem seals. Manifold vacuum pulls oil past valve stems and through guides when idling. Rev the engine and the manifold vacuum turns to velocity, drawing oil into the combustion chamber
@Keith Jurena never had any pinging issue even once. Most model engines have low compression compared to Mainstream engines. If you have a carb and intake where it remains uninterrupted by engine or exhaust heat, you won't have any issues with pre ignition.
I have used VP Racing 50:1 and 40:1 with 94 octane raring. The combustion is too late unless timing is advanced. Not all engines like the advance timing
Would be soo cool in a spitfire, I got a huge wooden propeller from ali express that would fit great.
Nice one
That thing is sick! Only 2,700$ lol. I’m sure its worth that. But that one expensive shelf piece
Well don't leave it on the shelf! Use it 👍
Beautiful little thing I love it! Would I get say 30 mph on my pushbike if I powered it with a 50 cc V12? It would be good to fit a cv unit maybe. How many horsepower has it got? I spose the website would have that info.
Cheers man, yeah check out the website
A scale Aston Martin, or Jag would be a nice home for that!
Absolutely
This needs to go in a model P51, or a model Spitfire... Would be absolutely amazing
Absolutely
I’ve seen that they have come out with a sequential transmission that I’m absolutely stoked about but wanna see some one use it and review it before I drink the cash
Yeah that's awesome
The 6.0 bored out 2 7 .0. Angie sounds a lot like that! Crazy
Nice
That runs really good for being right out the box. Sounds amazing. Need to make an F1 chassis for that engine
That would be cool!
Wow that's the first time I've seen a V12 engine with a weedeater carburetor 😄, I wonder if you should try and put them under a bit of load while running in? running a small generator to charge a battery or phone, I'd like to make a set of headers to exhaust outside via some steel gas pipe.
Love to install it into a RC car
Nice.. been dreaming of such an engine for so long to put in a P-40 warhawk or Lamborghini Countach rc ...
P40 one of my all time favourites
9:13 was my best part....sounded so real...
👍
Every adult bloke should have one of these in his life and her life if wanted
Haha indeed
@RC Tanks & Trucks 24/7 I'd move the clock and give it centre spot. With the rubbish on TV these days it would be running most days
Awesome, sounds amazing!
It does!
Curious what it would.sound like other a set of headers on it.
Yeah I think it would make a big difference
That thing is awesome!! Looks a lot like an Allison v12 which is my favorite engine
Cheers man
That would be great idea for a boat. I’m thinking 2of them. The motor buildup is beautiful
Thanks 👍
Way to go Steve! That thing is pretty wild.
Couldn't agree more mate
The passenger side bank was smoking just a bit. I wonder if the intake and carb setup might be favoring one bank with fuel.
Not too sure
This is AWESOME but you should put headers and dual exhaust on it before you rev it up. Runs much better that way.
There is none available as yet
I'm super tempted to put one in a moped now haha
Lol 😂
I wonder what you cound get out of it in a generator gonvfiguration!
Hmm 🤔
@@RCTanksTrucks247😁🧐
Man that is sick the toyan engines are too but this is just different you have to hand build a car around that engine just get some steel and a welding machine and just build it a car it would be some unreal RC car
Absolutely man. This would be amazing in a rc car
Wow, that's freaking awesome!! 😎👍Hmmm, wonder if I can integrate this into my Arrma Limiltless! 🤔😄
That would be cool!
9:13 that's what I was waiting for.
Absolutely
Hey, a hobby size engine that actually works well
👍
I so wanna see an rc air version...I got a 1/5 p51 that would love a v12 with a 2 to 1 gear reduction.
Wow, that would be great
@@RCTanksTrucks247 yes...yes it would..
This thing in a rc spitfire would go crazy!
Yeah absolutely
They came so close to making it perfect! A little more attention to detail and aesthetics would have made it a 10/10.
Why is the air cleaner unit so large? It’s not to scale. Nicer routing of the fuel lines would also have been welcome. It’s almost like they used a different engineer/designer for the carb unit than the rest of the engine.
Because you would not get performance out of smaller carbs if they were scale size
That sounds awesome. It sounds like a proper old school Lamborghini v12.
Yeah absolutely mate
Sh*t didn't see that till the end was shooting out flames! 😮
👍
Same power as modern 2 stoke 50 cc racing 1 cyl cross motorcycle engines? guess they do 36 to 40 hp for hhours before any maintinance work have to be done done?
guess your wheigth will be a little more also?
just asking for a freind.
But amazing work!😍
Just need to change the oil
I'm amazed love to see it in a speed boat or something
Would be awesome indeed
I've seen many toyan Engine videos none of them sounded as good as this. Apparently it takes twelve cylinders
The rotary sounds amazing!
@@RCTanksTrucks247 Un-really amazing!
What sort of hp. This thing throwing out am fastened thsnks so much .hey from N IRELAND....
These would be interesting in a Spitfire model.
Yeah absolutely
Put it in a 1/6 scale Armortek M26 Pershing R/C Tank or something similar.
💵💵💵
Won't sound like a tank though. I'm still waiting for a 1/6 deisel engine. That I would put in an Armortek.
Sick! Put it in a P51!
That would be awesome, or a spitfire!
Super cool love the sound 🎉❤
Thanks
Need to put that on a little 50 pit dirt bike, would probably smoke any other 50 bike lol 😅 😂
Haha
Nice mini engine. I wonder if you can make a green steam like engine but gas powered with a z 8.
Cool idea
Wow awesome video my friend,, and cool MINI V12 ENGINE THAT RUNS 👍👍💯
Glad you enjoyed it
Any updates on the rc boat build
No hull available at the moment. Found some but shipping is too expensive
that is sic ! Put it in a scale hydroplane
Whoa! AWESOMENESS
Sounds like a ferrari v12. If they make it a little bigger displacement i hope it can be used in mopeds.
Definitely sounds good
@@RCTanksTrucks247 its pricey but i would like that over my 69cc china doll any day especially if it came with a 3 spd transmission.
I need this for my 50cc
Haha 😂
Want to see you put that in a King Tiger tank
That would be a expensive but amazing project
Now make a 12 into 1 header!
I don't have the tooling unfortunately
Sounds sick
Absolutely
all that needs now is a good gearbox and a 1/15 scale :)
Yeah man absolutely
O melhor modelo de motor em V, o melhor som de detonação, muito lindo!!!!
Much appreciated
What à good answer of engine ❤
It's honestly awesome
Would like to see a equal length header made for it
Aha! I was just scrolling to see if anyone else had this idea. Your brain is well tuned
Yeah, imagine the sound
Mate…..that is one super sexy motor, sounds great. I am very impressed. Great show.
Much appreciated brother
Holy moly that sounds amazing!!
So good!
Large scale air plane would be awesome .
Yeah for sure
Nice engine. Put it in a moped frame, whack a gearbox and clutch on the thing, then bobs yer teapot. 'Av a good day mate. Cheers for the cool vids :)
Thanks, you too!
Now put it in a Honda 50 motorcycle frame and hook it to a transmission of some kind.
Lol imagine that
I’m definitely sticking this in my boy’s pocket bike! Except that it costs 50k in our money! I can get a 2nd hand V12 full size for half that price.
Right on!
The secondhand full-size V12 won't be very easy to fit in the pocket bike.
Where do I get one of these?
Links in the description 👍
Deeeeuuuuummmm... thoroughly surprised at how well it runs. Sounds like it's cammed just right. Just begging for a scale 275 GTB.
Runs amazingly well bro
@RC Tanks & Trucks 24/7 - what's the recommended fuel?
Petrolheads super cool stuff
Absolutely bro
Crazy good. Thank you.
Glad you liked it!
It would be nice to see those used in go carts
Not powerful enough for that
Where do I get one and how much?
Links in the description
I wander how it would perform in a moped? it would be legal here in the UK for 16 year olds and pizza delivery
Would be interesting thsts for sure
do you happend to know the power output of the engine?
Check out the links in the description and comment section for more details bro 👍
It would be great to see if it can hold at least 50 hours of use, if so, maybe I thought about it.😉
Time will tell
What is the estimated hp output?
Not sure but I will try and find out
Can u please put that in an armortek tank?
If you send me the tank then I will 👍
3 of these in a model PT boat.
Haha, awesome
Damn, I want to put one on my Tmax 3.3!
Definitely too small. Needs to be 1/5 scale
