Should've done my homework more seriously. Every truck I've owned had a sunroof and I nvr used them, so I ordered mine without, and apparently, the tailgate was part of that same pkg. And I also paid $5k over msrp.

Wait they added dealer fees on top of a 5k markup over msrp, you people are fools that would pay that.. that’s the reason the rest of us can’t buy one.
I spent a lot of time on Autotrader reaching out to dealers all over the country. Not much luck there since most vehicles listed were customer orders already spoken for. I finally posted on a Facebook group, a dealer with a Gen 3 for sale happened to see it, and we worked out a deal. Took me a few months of searching to find what I wanted.

That's totally up to you and depends on your income and financial situation. Make sure your payment isn't more than you can afford comfortably and make sure you have enough savings to be able to cover payments in case something were to happen.

5k over for a 35 truck is pretty standard and 10k over for a 37 truck is the going rate. Both a rip off but that’s the world we’re in now.

5k over is still to high over MSRP for the Raptor. Unless you’re talking about the Raptor R.
My local dealer wanted 25k over for a 2023 37 package I laughed and hung up them phone.
