i did Berryman B12 chemtool piston soaking on my 2002 camry 255k miles 2az-fe a few times, however, i never drain my oil during piston soaking until done soaking, and then drain all spent oil and replenished with fresh engine oil along with new engine oil filter. my engine very quiet now, infact, when i remotely started my car, and while walking to the car, i couldn't hear the engine was running until i was about 30 to 40 feet away.
@@taz24787 I did subsequent Berryman b12 chemtool 2 more times, about 6 months apart with some added steps, besides just simply removed spark plug and poured b12 solution in spark plug hole, I also rotated crankshaft by hand 10 or 20 times clockwise each time I poured b12 in cylinder, I normally use total of 2 bottles, with each cylinder 2 oz at a time and then wait until drain to sump. My result is surprisedly good, nearly 3k miles burn 1 qt, as it stands at 276k miles now, it still burns oil, last time I checked about a week or two ago, driven 960 miles since last fresh oil change, and dipstick went from top full dot to 1/4 inch lower on dipstick, and engine produces good power on acceleration, getting consistently 28mpg mixed on daily commute, (10 miles highway, and 16 miles stop and go traffic each way) I changed engine oil interval to 3k now using Mobil 1 0w-40, I don’t top engine oil anymore, and don’t need to, by the time I am low on oil, it is 3k later and I just do another oil change, and do b12 soaking on every 3rd or 4th oil change
@@bronzemaxellwg3098 Thank you for your experience brother! ... I heard that the B12 could remove the black paint from the oil pan and get the oil filter clugged with it. Do you anything to avoid this? Best,
You killed your engine with Barryman. It leaked through the piston rings to the oil pan, Barryman stripped paint from oil pan and blocked oil pick up tube. Oil starvation, spun bearings, and probably there is damage to camshaft and journals. Kids, always take of oil pant and inspect oil pickup tube after soak, especially using chemicals that are know to strip paint. Unless your car is equipped with aluminum oil pan.
First thing to do right after the soak is to replace that oil. NEVER turn on the engine with that much solvent in the crankcase and much less rev it.

Did you do the "Berryman B12 chemtool piston soaking" due to oil consumption? ... How did it go? ... Any risks?
Thank you!

I think it was the fact that he turned it on with that much solvent in it without replacing the oil right after the soak. That engine is bye bye.
