Try cleaning the MAF and also mine did burn a lot of oil. The crankcase breather on th back of the valve cover on the passenger side goes bad and It causes excess pressure which causes oil consumption replaced It and was good to go
shawntlgs sorry for the late response. I’ve had It about 4 years put 120k on It so far. If I had to buy It again, I would. Just basic maintenance. Put 120k on the Toyota brake pads just changed them and they still had life. Gets good fuel economy no mater what.
And did the original have a gasket or silicone or both?
Thanks for the video. Do you have oil consumption issues with your Camry? The 2AZ-FE is famous for that.
It is a design flaw with the Pistons and Rings.
Did you installed gasket seal ? Or only silicone pan ?
Only silicone no need for a gasket
Thanks. How long did it take you?
How’d you separate it? Flat head?
overpricedtoyota I ended up separating with a small pry bar with the wide tip and hit It in between the block and oil pan
Have you got any oil burns and rough idling while at stop in Drive gear? I have a 07 v4 and there’s so much oil burn and rough idling.

@@theaveragedad5218 I did that and replaced the valve cover gasket and it helped a little bit. But still burning oil and idles tough.
@@obaidmohammadaslam4302 what oil are you running in it I’m running 5w-30 full synthetic with no oil burns
😆 I'm thinking Toyota probably wants $1,800 to do all that
How long have you had your camry and has it been good to you?

suxha bleen sorry for late reply.
I cleaned off my old one as It had no issues with It and added gasket maker and reinstalled
@@theaveragedad5218 nice.. Dude.. These v4s are amazing..
suxha bleen it’s an in-line 4 cylinder but nonetheless you’re correct they are great
@@theaveragedad5218 can you explain what's the difference?
suxha bleen in a V engine the cylinders are in a V shape like. 1 4

Inline they are in a row like 1 2 3 4
