I think making it matte black instead of shiny and putting a tiny little bit of black somewhere else on the boot for accent, would’ve looked awesome as well❤
I think a person would choose black so any supervisor or OSHA person could look at a glance and assume "steel toe". At least that would be my guess. A lot of steel toe boots back in the day had a black toe cap.

timberlands and timberlands pros are the worst. theyre ok working around your house or driving in your truck but if you’re a tradesman they suck my first day in the roofers union the foreman saw my brand new timberland pros and laughed and said something like “you’re gonna be hurting timb pros arent made for construction” while cut my legs off and call me a midget my feet were killing me all day, fuckin heel swelled up after a few weeks had to go to the ER it was that bad. i had a giant flat squshy bubble of puss floating around that would move to a different spot if you touched it and looked infected. i forget if they drained it i wanna say they didnt, but red wings only ever since
@BBGhost6 see I've had both and prefer the 8 inch timberland pro there like $400 Canadian I've tried lots of boots for comfort and factory work I have yet to find something more comfortable and what I don't understand about redoing your boots if there for work is your boots structure if working full time last 8 months to a year amd you need support good support and structure so redwings don't come with alot of comfort and support there just built really well so if you redo your boots and you work in them how are you bringing back the structure and support in the heel and collar area ?
I like the black, much better than I think orange would look. My questions are how does the rubberised toe hold up to abuse and how well does superglue hold the sole on?
My question is about the cost difference. What would it have cost for a new pair vs repairing this pair. I know there are other factors, like the boot already being broken in and reducing waste. Right now I'm just curious about the cost difference. You can get a new pair for about $150-200. I'm guessing that the time and expertise it takes to resole and repair would be more.
red and orange works good with the yellow colour on itself, but because there already are black elements reusing black colour on the reinforcement was actually a better choice

Timberland pros are actually REALLY freaking comfortable boots. I just got my first pair not to long ago and i have been using them at my outdoor job and they are great. I will probably be getting another pair when these go bad.

Some people don't want to deal with the pain of wearing out a boot in the beginning to fit your foot.
