If I remember right only Coen has yellow-green eyes which was implied to be a adverse reaction to the mutations. Also Geralt was able to disguise himself as the human "Ravix of Fourhorn" at the engagement dinner of Pavetta, if he had glowing yellow eyes that wouldn't be possible.
It was implied in the books that Geralt’s eyes were fairly normal, but that he could control his pupils and turn them into cat like eyes when he needed.

Book accurate Geralt has no yellow eyes, but black. He does have cat like slit pupils, which likely reflect light like those of a cat. Giving him yellow eyes ingame was a compromise because graphics in the times of Witcher 1 weren't as advanced yet. The yellow became iconic to Geralt, most people love them, so they stayed. I would have liked glowing pupils better, fits a Witcher more, imho, it isn't as obvious during daylight, but very spooky and scary once you meet such a person by night. Just had to point that out. :D Still, nice mods. :)

Well the place he was in (velen and white orchid) are full of bandits and just common crooks so he never could predict who he would be fighting and the golden age of monster hunting was long gone by that point so he was fighting more humans than he was monsters
Probably because he was luring Geralt into isolation to question him. The first look (and probably smell) at the green house and Detlaff probably knew exactly who Geralt was. He even looked back and waited a little bit a couple of times to see if Geralt was still following.

Trying to decide whether or not he should just get rid of Geralt right then and there. That's not true. In the books, Geralt carried one sword on his back, had a round medialion and wore a headband. He had yellow cat eyes, a pale complexion and a black studded jacket. His appearance was clearly described.

My only gripe is when videos are titled as 'lore accurate' as if it's implying this is the 'correct look'.

Thanks for your comment. I noticed that the sound is too quiet already after uploading the video on yt. Unfortunately it can't be fixed anymore. In the next videos the sound should already be ok.

Geralt wasn't said to be handsome in books. In fact he was terrifying to look at, which is a part of his ugly smile to terrify people. It's his rizz that gets him laid mostly. In fact, the witcher from the first game is the lore accurate Geralt.
