Gordon Ramsay the type of dude who sit back and LITERALLY eat THE MOST AMAZING boiled egg and drink THE MOST AMAZING chicken stock for breakfast while sitting on his MOST AMAZING chair with his MOST AMAZING spoon.
He’s the most amazing chef imo. Not just due to his cooking, but his personality, ability to teach, (I’m hard to teach and he does great) and what a great father he is to his little girl. The latter has zilch to do with cooking but it makes me see him as the most amazing. So eh. It works
I just made this today. And it was amazing. The texture was a bit off but that's because I didn't mince my shallot enough and perhaps I used a bit too much. But the flavour of the sauce and the meat was just perfect. The meat was tender, moist and the mustard sauce was stunning. Thanks a lot Gordon!
The first person to ever make a dish from this show... normally we all watch these at 3am and get hungry and then go to the kitchen to make a hot pocket
I already saw Gordon's most amazing pork chop... And here's another most amazing pork chop. Are they both the most amazing pork chop recipes? Can there be two!?
Just made this tonight. The only thing I did differently was that I made fingerling potatoes instead of mashed potatoes. The pork chop sauce is amazing. There is such a depth of flavor to this...I'll be making this a few times a year forever. Amazing.
An incredibly delicious recipe!!! I didn’t see anything instructing on the creamy mashed potatoes or the braised cabbage...BUT...the instructions on the Pork was so succulent and delicious! My husband, nearly retirement age and a fellow Brit to you, was so enthralled and thoroughly satisfied with the flavor and texture of this recipe that I was truly happy to give it a try and prepare it for him. The bone in pork sirloin chops was what I used and the only change I made was to add mushrooms and roasted garlic to the minced shallots and fresh garlic. Not only did my husband melt over and loved it but completely enjoyed and loved it as well...it turned out way better than I had hoped for!!! Tomorrow I am going to contact our Favorite, local British Pub and send them this recipe with the request that they add it to their Sunday Dinner repertoire...it is that OUTSTANDING! I served it with oven roasted red beets and reheated scalloped potatoes comprised of a mixture of russet potatoes, sweet potatoes and purple Ube potatoes previously roasted in a cream sauce....this combination in addition to the glazed apples was unexpected...it was like having dessert on the side! Thank you Gordon Ramsey!!!! Once again, you gave me enough information to recreate an absolutely delicious meal!!! Sometimes I do not feel like I got it right but this time, 😘, it was sublime! I honestly believe you are the foremost Chef on the planet!!! You have taught me so many culinary techniques, that with a bit of practice, I can achieve a memorable dish for my family. I appreciate you putting out these wonderful videos, they inspire me to up my game in the kitchen and it has been so rewarding, every time! I have a boundless heart of love and when I am in the Kitchen I cannot stop from pouring that love into creating wonderful food...you have given me so much confidence, I cannot thank you enough! I hope you never stop creating lovely and exciting meals and SHARING them with the rest of us! God Bless you Sir and I shall keep improving my culinary skills thanks to you. Just a fantastically one up delicious dish with multiple layers and nuances !!!
Gordon's recipe videos are great. Unlike a lot of "celebrity" chefs, Gordon Ramsay's creations always look really delicious. He cares more about taste and presentation than making the dish "healthy". The cooked meat always look juicy and succulent even though they look like cuts you can get from the local supermarket. The recipes are also much easier to duplicate (and more forgiving) than on the videos where they are cooking a complicated signature dish in a restaurant kitchen.
right. now we are going to make the most amazing bowl of Captain Crunch you will ever taste... first, get a bowl. not too big, not too small. place on counter done. next take the cereal and put into mixing bowl. season it. salt. pepper. done now the milk. the most important part. pour into separate mixing bowl.. slowly. stir in softened butter. done. now, mix the cereal and milk together. done. there you have it. a sweet, salty, spicy, buttery bowl of Captain Crunch. perfect I'm teasing. I wish I could cook like him. shit I wish could taste his food. but seriously, even as an overweight American I'm amazed at the amount of salt that is used
My pork chops came out superbly following this. They were cooked perfectly & were so moist with a perfectly cooked outer fat. So easy & I will never go back to putting them in the oven. I did a creamy mustard sauce with mine. I love pork chops!
Thats why I like watching these home-cooked versions of GR's food. When he's not doing it ridiculously quickly or getting other people to do it a restaurant he's like a little child left alone in a sweet shop. Its almost funny to watch ( in a good way)
This is just a different twist on an old classic Steak Diane. One of my favourite classic dishes, now with a modern twist. Love it. Keep up the good work Ramsey!
We tried this recipe and used Peach Liqueur as we could not find Apple Brandy and it was the BEST RECIPE we have ever cooked. Oh so delicious and the pork was melt in the mouth tender !!!! Well done GR for this recipe that is now going to be our favourite !!!!
I made this tonight for dinner and it was amazing! i even made my own home made mashed potatoes and i felt like i was eating at a restaurant. 10/10. definitely recommend this for a easy quick dinner!
F Word, it would be nice if you'd include a bit of ingredients in these episodes. Maybe in the description. Like what alcohol is that? I think it's a Calvados brandy, but is it apple brandy?
HA!!! I spotted a genuine, grade-A, organically grown Gordon Ramsay error! Before he adds the apples to the caramel, he says to add the butter and then the apples. Then... Right before my eyes... He added the apples, and THEN the butter.
The way gordon describes the food alone should win a oscar he be like "the beautiful apples wondefully caramelized with a modest serving of amazing potatoes and a fantastic mustard sauce cover scrumptious pork chop" we be sitten here like 😳😛😵😲😮😦😧😕😯

You're absolutely correct! Gordon does use three teaspoons of brown sugar! But he says one tablespoon which as we all know, equals three teaspoons.
Burned his apple too x)

Yup, I can literally feel the knife, smoothly cutting the meat whilst I hold a fork. 🤤
"you have to season it twice, once before cooking and once again during cooking"
only seasons it once
He can cook Chris
He seasons the pork again with the sauce.
Do you naturally season with sauce too?
"Once it starts to change color we're gonna add the butter, then add our apples. Okay, apples in." Adds butter last, twice. WEEEEE
