Right on, Tony. Same here. My Walmart here in Buena Park, CA., is a hit and miss for certain. I did manage to secure a nice steelbook of The Strangers with the mask and that red hair coming out of the top on cover. That is a beautifully done steelbook. The Stardust 4K steelbook was not there, but they had a Blu-ray version of it in steelbook form there. It had different artwork on front and stated it had "art cards" of the characters inside. I did get that for about $25. Ken showed the 4K version on this video, but it was not the 4K edition I picked up.
Walmart's been sucking so hard lately. I went yesterday evening because the website said they had 2 steelbooks I wanted. There were shelf spots but no movies. After finally finding the electronics employee and having him walk with me to the shelves to verify they weren't there, he checked his app and said they had 4 copies of each but hadn't been put out yet. I asked whether I could get a copy of each from the cage (I could see them behind the counter) and was told that I should try coming back tomorrow because only 1 employee is allowed to stock the shelves, and they hadn't done it in 2 days. I literally want to give Walmart my money and I can't.
Great video as always Ken! 16:40, yes, there is 4K format for both Hellboy movies. The remake has one as well. The Body Double 4K steelbook is just stunning, agreed! We need more of Melanie Griffith on 4K from her career. Working Girl is a fabulous movie from the late '80s starring Harrison Ford and Sigourney Weaver. That does not have a 4K to this day. Another one from around 1990 is Pacific Heights! That does not even have a Blu-ray to my knowledge. That movie had Michael Keaton as the bad guy playing a con man.
Yeah, Working Girl is really good, and Ford's role is pretty cool and a has a little atypical nuance for him. Both it and Pacific Heights need restorations.
If you have the walmart exclusive of Maxxxine along with the slipcovers for X and Pearl its kind of a sick collection. If you shelf them in chronological order it would be Pearl X Maxxxine. With Pearl and Maxxxine having a red slipcover and X in the middle with a black slipcover it also shows an X on all 3 fronts of the covers so either way they look really cool esthetically both on the shelf and the front on the slips
Ken, I'm not trying to talk you into triple dipping but the UK limited edition chunky box set is amazing, The original poster art is on the steelbook and comes with a region free bluray as well. I tested to confirm. Art cards, Poster, booklet and numbered certificate all in a nice chunky box
All of the Hellboy movies have 4ks, even the animated features and the attempted reboot. I think there's also a pre up somewhere for the new one, The Crooked Man.

October November & December have best 4K releases in a long time: Nightmare on Elm Street, Sixth Sence, Death becomes Her, Tootsie, Addams Family values, Drag me to Hell, Born on 4th of july, Elvira MOTD, Terminator, Bug, Gift, No Country Fold old Men, Demolition Man, Simple Plan, Faculty, Internal Affairs
Watch Stardust with your kids. Gives off Princess Bride vibes as it is a surprisingly good fantasy film. Funny with the loose 4k disc, all the Walmart exclusives at my local supercenter (6 total copies) had loose discs inside them.
I just grabbed the 4K Stardust steenbok at Walmart yesterday, but mine is getting a bit more sparse these days as far as releases go:/ But Amazon and the boutique labels are keeping me plenty busy as I am sure you can relate to 😅

After all that, I talked to service rep and got a whopping $5 discount code towards a future purchase and no conclusive shipping date on my copy.
So let me get this straight, Ken, you have the standard edition of a nightmare on Elm Street, and you ordered the steelbook. Then you saw the steelbook in store and picked it up, but why, you're truly a sick man. Get help! take care out there!! And on top of all that you said you didn't even like the transfer so why get all these copies??

The crossover I never thought I would see: Off! and Ken lol. They're a great hardcore punk band that features the former singer of Black Flag.
I love that NoES steelbook! Cool design and I get what they were going for. Got mine a couple days ago. I also got that UK box edition coming.
I got the Nightmare steelbook on Gruv also and I like the matte finish also no fingerprint residue
