    If you flipped it over with a light, I'm sure it makes for a cool night light...even cooler if it rotated slowly and projected on the walls like stars

    I would like to see you turn a "bowl" like this into a light. But instead of a regular light bulb use a led light strip.

      I was thinking it would look cool with a wood base that has an LED light that fits just inside the mortise, lighting the bowl while still remaining a functional bowl.

    You and your wife are excellent parent's and how you've coped with this pandemic is amazing and the lovely work that Charlie did for the NHS upset me that some pathetic people and time wasters affected the sale for the staff of the hospital's, when they would have looked better on display at a hospital, than an individual's home. Charlie poured his heart and soul into the project and it was great what he did with it.

    Some of my favorite projects you do are when you start one way and then change it up in the middle. This bowl is very cool and unique. Love it. This is probably my favorite channel on youtube.

    The end result wasn't where I thought it would have gone. Like it though. Maybe you can try it again with the coloured putty you used to used

    Favorite part about making bowls. Applying Shellawax and seeing the shine come out. Makes it all worth it. Oh ya. Also the smell is quite enjoyable as well!

    Every time you went super slow mo and wood chips and saw dust flew everywhere I kept thinking what a horror flick that would be to trees everywhere. Somewhere in Nowhere there are tree parents telling their saplings to be good and go to sleep early or a wood turner will snag them from their soiled beds. 😂 (I love trees...I love how they keep me warm in winter, how they make sturdy beautiful furniture, and how they smell in the summer in the middle of the woods...in that sense, I am a tree hugger. 😉)

    Nick those holes you put in the bowl it reminds me of cypress wood that got eatin' by dugs and sat in the Louisiana(USA) swamps for two hundred years. Awesome!!😮😮

    I liked it, looked like bug tunnels in the beginning, very rustic but artsy at the same time. Sometimes our biggest mistake as artists is second guessing ourselves. But your work is always amazing, even when you doubt yourself you put out amazing pieces.

    That turned out pretty funky and cool after all. I actually expected it to break into pieces on the lathe first as it was so thin. Saved by the resin and purple one to - one of my favourite colour. Not into the yellow really but the mix looks pretty nifty. The shrunken butternut squash was funny - maybe you can make a Tiki shrinkhead out of it now... 🐱‍👤 have a great weekend everybody

    That bowl looked great at the end but, I liked the 1st bowl too. I thought it would be perfect to hold potpourri , all the airflow through the holes would help the scent spread .💐
