Love it!!!! A suggestion for the top you took off -- make a lid for your CD Player to keep it from getting too dusty when not in use. It would keep people guessing as to what it is. You would have a CD pot -- a nice decoration. Keep up the great work!!
I am 100% all for you having sponsors. You provide quality content. I get ideas from your work, and sponsorships help keep it coming! I love your creativity!
honestly, the accident or leaking made it even better because of two tones of blues. it looks like bottom part is lake, and upper part looks like sky!! It is so cool!
Hilariously a number of years ago I used the CD player out of my Chrysler to make a shaker table for casting resin pen blanks. That was some entertaining kludging.
I was walking down a nature path the other day, and saw a growth in the side of a tree, and my first thought was “I wonder what nick could make out of this...” never would have considered a CD player! But thank you for helping me see the excitement and endless possibilities in the world around me, Nick!
If only you knew someone who could make you a tray for that lower "shelf" on your lathe to keep your stuff from rattling off onto the floor all the time.
Another beauty, hey ever think about trying to spin like a nice car rim out of a fat log,? T'would be kinda cool and have lots of different things to do lathe work, router work. Hell make it a real size and get some tires make 4 and build a little pull buggy or down hill wooden soap box racer. Multi part series maybe? Resin in the wheels who know mate play with it, think it would be a cool one. Cheers from Canada
Hi Nick ....I'm actually watching from Greece and love your videos especially when wood is involved. My grandad used to turn wood and you've brought back many happy memories of me sitting in his workshop as a young girl. I have lots of his wooden bowls and have also passed on some to my daughter. Happy days and thanks for bringing back the memories.❤️❤️
It's gorgeous. And I want to thank you for letting us know about Martin (in some other videos). I bought a branding iron and 500 of the numbered coins from him, and they are awesome!
The colors are beautiful along with the wood you used! Great job, as always!!Watching you turn pieces is so relaxing to me. I enjoy all your projects. I do like the turning pieces the most. Thank you for sharing your talents with us! 💚
Nick I love how you show and tell about your mistakes/problems and then show how you recover from them. Awesome CD player you made too! 😀🥳 toot that horn!
As usual, you're the master at sound effects. There was also something oddly satisfying about watching all those tools escaping as the lathe vibrated them off of the table.
That was beautiful! You come up with some really unique pieces. I love it! We have a product over here that if you sprayed it on the seams of your homemade container, the resin wouldn't leak. It comes in a spray can, liquid to paint on or a tape. You wouldn't lose another pot. Thank you for a great project and video and stay safe!
Nick, when you get your new pressure pot, I think I would spray the inside of it with mold release or rub some paste wax in it every few uses, or when you fear you may have a leak like this again. A few pennies in preparation may have hundreds of dollars/pounds in disaster
The very beginning of this video gave me an idea. Take a board or piece of plywood or something along those lines--anything you can fasten to the table of your band saw--and cut a hole in it the size of the metal ring you screwed into that huge chunk of wood to put it on the lathe. Then, screw the ring into your piece, clamp the board to the table of your band saw, put the ring in the hole, and use it to turn the piece while cutting off the excess. You end up with a nearly perfectly round and centered starting piece.
I loved this!!! Turned out amazing!!! Loved that you used Rob Dougan's "Clubbed to Death" ....Haha, great song. And Back to the Future at the end!! Really enjoyed this video and supporting you!! ♥️
Where the dark blue and lighter blue resin meet it honestly looks like a seaside view, looking at the horizon where the ocean and the blue sky meet. 👌🏻😎🌊
I still use a CD player every single day for many hours as I listen to my audio books. This is absolutely gorgeous but I do wish that you had a lid for yours as dust, pet fur etc gets everywhere. You've technically got the lid already. Incredibly beautiful pot for the CD player 💖💖
The left over chunk looks like it would make an awesome serving tray. Also, let us have a moment of silence for the lost of the dearly departed pressure pot *cap off*
This looks so cool! Not to mention the CD player is modern and chic like turned project. You could add this into any room without it looking like just electronics-it’s art. Great job!
Maybe try placing a large trash bag in the pressure pot letting it fall over the sides...it still should seal.....then any leaks will come out into the trash bag and not screw up the pot ? Just a idea !!!!!
13:13 I think it looks good because it makes it look like an optical illusion. It makes it look like the resin is see through and you can see the white mechanism on the inside
At the beginning of this video I was like how is a piece of wood going be a CD player when a CD player is electronic but This is an awesome project it turned out very nice I love the way it looks and the colors look very nice in it the only thing is I think the part that you cut off should have been turned into a lid for the CD player you could have put some hinges on it and attach it to the rest of it that way you can lift it up and it would stay open while you put a CD in it and use it then when you're not using it you could close it and keep the CD player from getting dirty and dusty
I also think it looks great buddy. I does look like the ocean. RIP to the legendary pressure pot that helped you make so many beautiful projects. You should hang it on the wall for memories. When you first started I had no idea it was going to be so big.
Hi Nick, This is a really cool CD player that You made from that Huge piece of wood and resin. I am sorry that You had to cut apart Your Pressure Pot! I can say though that I like the different colors in the resin from having to fill it twice. I love the light blue and the darker blue and the gradation of the colors! It made it look REALLY COOL!!! I know that You use different stains to compliment the natural color of the wood and the knotting and any other veining or imperfections in the wood. I actually prefer the darker stain with the blue resin. I know that We all have Our Individual Preferences. Moving on, Your hair and beard look AWESOME!!! Thank You for always sharing Your talents with Us. God Bless You, Your Awesome Wife and Your Wonderful Children. I look forward to Your next Post!!! 😊👍🏼👋🏼
Nick I WANT that CD player.....the colors are exquisite and really pop. Great job. (holds a coffee cup of hot tea to salute you) Cheers to you good sir.
Nick, your projects are becoming better and better. I like everything you make more than the previous one. I hope you don't mind my stealing your idea!
That is just too cool. I never thought it would turn out so awesome. You've got some really great ideas and you carry them out so well. Love it, love it, love it!! Keep on keeping on at being awesome!
OMG I love this idea ..it’s so pretty the way the wood and the resin mix ,making such an unusual one of a kind piece ..Love this..You can even make a beautiful plate or shallow dish out of the off cut too 😀
Sorry to hear about your pressure pot. The project turned out really beautiful, I'd be proud to play my CD's in it. I do still play CD's, don't really care if they're "obsolete". I've seen the idea to turn the other piece into a top for the player to keep dust out of it. That sounds like a good idea, and if you do it I hope we see it. Thanks for the video, Nick.♥ and I saw the shirtless pic on Instagram I know it was so we could see the tattoo, but, damn. hey, I'm only human.
Its Very Nice! I still listen to CDs and Id be pleased to have this to listen to them. Only 1 thing-I think it needs a lid to close when you arent listening, to keep dust off the playing and speaker service. Thanks for the great project!
You're gonna need that sweet sponsor money to buy a new pressure pot! I think your sponsorships are fine, and they are really easy to skip by if it's irrelevant. The project turned out really neat, I'm always impressed when there's any sort of wiring involved.
I’m in love with this piece! I need this!🙃So pretty! That wood is gorgeous, very nice markings throughout it...lovely resin also. Enjoyed the vid as always Nick. Stay well✌🏼
I just love watching you, you crack me up. I hate that you lost your pot, but the project turned out pretty awesome. I was wondering how that huge chunk of wood was going to be a CD player, but you never cease to amaze me.
Hi! Reminds me of ocean and sandy beach! 🌊🌊😍🌊🌊 The only thing I would do different....no...I would add, is something to put on top to keep dust away. Kind of an only resin frisbee with a little of that white and blue, maybe a bit shine through. Just my 2 cents. 😉
Another unfortunate victim of 2020. RIP pressure pot, you will never be forgotten and thank you for your amazing service.
Love it!!!! A suggestion for the top you took off -- make a lid for your CD Player to keep it from getting too dusty when not in use. It would keep people guessing as to what it is. You would have a CD pot -- a nice decoration. Keep up the great work!!
That's what I thought also it's a great project
My initial thought also, when you took top off is "oh there is going to be a lid"
Cheryl Unger yes! My thoughts exactly. A beautiful lid like the old fashion record players.
yes
That's awesome. Is it for sale? Would love to have one.
I love the way the resin colors separated. It looks like the ocean and sky. Beautiful!
That is what I was thinking. The wood also gave the feel of sand or rocks.
i thought the same. love it
I literally came to the comments to say exactly that!! It gave me a total beach vibe.
Happy to see the Yorkshire Grits is feeling well enough to go wandering again! I was getting very concerned about it! 😜
I love how you got it on the lathe and said, "No this is going to kill me.... Band-saw!"
I don't know how some time ago your channel popped up on my TH-cam feed, but I subscribed, and I'm SO SO HAPPY about that.
Hey hey happy Dayz 😊👍🏽
I am 100% all for you having sponsors. You provide quality content. I get ideas from your work, and sponsorships help keep it coming! I love your creativity!
TH-cam is such a blessing for artists. I hope you are making a really good living showing us what you create.
Incredible! You should use the part you cut off for a lid when you're done you can close it. 😉😁👍✌️🤙
Watching you makes me wanna learn wood turning!! You're awesome!
Hey Nick, got a project idea for you to do at some point: Somehow make a waffle iron out of a block of wood.
Lol, not a bad idea. The waffler making a waffle machine! I enjoy his waffling tho, hahaha 😋
I would love to see that as well. What a good idea!
Sounds flammable lol
was I the only one who was kept waiting for the "Timey Wimey" after those "Wibbly Wobbly"?
Nope, you sure weren't. 😂
I know absolutely nothing about woodwork, but I have to say every time your videos come out it just makes my day.
That is an interesting CD player, I never seen one that didn't encase the CD inside to play it.
The other part you cut off could be used as a top with a hinge on the back.
The matrix soundtrack is pretty amazing, even all these years later.
Even with all the mishaps it's still a masterpiece, but of course that's my opinion awesome job!!!
I think the second pour kinda makes the CD player looks like it shows through the resin.
honestly, the accident or leaking made it even better because of two tones of blues. it looks like bottom part is lake, and upper part looks like sky!! It is so cool!
Hilariously a number of years ago I used the CD player out of my Chrysler to make a shaker table for casting resin pen blanks. That was some entertaining kludging.

But thank you for helping me see the excitement and endless possibilities in the world around me, Nick!
I like how the two layers look like a view over the ocean and clear blue sky.
The second pour made the resin look sky like. Absolutely beautiful ♥
If only you knew someone who could make you a tray for that lower "shelf" on your lathe to keep your stuff from rattling off onto the floor all the time.
This bugs me sooo much every time!
Makes me think he must just do it on purpose now for comedic effect. At least I hope so...
I wonder if a magnet would help?
There's no easy solution to the invisible cat that sits on the shelf.
Another beauty, hey ever think about trying to spin like a nice car rim out of a fat log,? T'would be kinda cool and have lots of different things to do lathe work, router work. I'd like to see that also, good idea Steve 👍👍

Wow!!! I'd like to see you make some sort of lamp, like a chandelier. That would be cool!
R.I.P pressure pot 😔 also... THIS IS EPIC! THIS IS OFFICIALLY MY FAVORITE PROJECT! It looks like a ocean scene!
Nick I love how you show and tell about your mistakes/problems and then show how you recover from them. Awesome CD player you made too! 😀🥳 toot that horn!
Glad to see even seasoned makers can have the odd mishap or two (or more) . Really makes us beginners feel a bit better. Fantastic piece!
That pour line from the mishap makes me think of looking through a cave at the ocean. A nice horizon line, and almost cloudy sky. So pretty.
I have to say this is one of my favorite projects he's ever done just because he used Rob Dougan music at the very end, it was fantastic!
I usually think it's sad when you get that strong of a line but in this project I LOVE it! It looks like the horizon line between the sea and the sky!
Yayyy! Fab wood, gorgeous resin, wonderful wild hair, Yorkshire Grit, cool music AND madness! Missed this xx
Nick, when you get your new pressure pot, I think I would spray the inside of it with mold release or rub some paste wax in it every few uses, or when you fear you may have a leak like this again.
A few pennies in preparation may have hundreds of dollars/pounds in disaster
Another gorgeous project, but I had no idea people still played CDs.
Aww, the sacrifices you make for us! Thanks Nick, the CD player is beautiful
The very beginning of this video gave me an idea. Take a board or piece of plywood or something along those lines--anything you can fasten to the table of your band saw--and cut a hole in it the size of the metal ring you screwed into that huge chunk of wood to put it on the lathe. Thanks for sharing Nick; I always love your ability to redesign objects showcasing your craftsmanship. Peace.
Where the dark blue and lighter blue resin meet it honestly looks like a seaside view, looking at the horizon where the ocean and the blue sky meet. 👌🏻😎🌊
Matrix Soundtrack CD and Rob D. Yes Nick!
😲😜👍🏽
I was going to say the same thing LOL
This turned out great, in my opinion. I like the way the 2 separate pours make it look like the ocean/sea and sky. 👍🏾
Your CD player is really nice. The wood grain and the color that you used for the resin are both beautiful. Thank you for sharing
I still use a CD player every single day for many hours as I listen to my audio books. This is absolutely gorgeous but I do wish that you had a lid for yours as dust, pet fur etc gets everywhere. You've technically got the lid already. Incredibly beautiful pot for the CD player 💖💖
Talented woodworking Barista...not just for the coffee
The lighter resin looks more like the sky, the dark resin looks like the ocean. I love it.
Adding the top back on would look amazing. Like a hidden, artistic table piece
Your the man Nick. Turn a complete Fup into a masterpiece. Good idea too.
Matching log speakers around the yard and youll be all set.
The left over chunk looks like it would make an awesome serving tray. Also, let us have a moment of silence for the lost of the dearly departed pressure pot *cap off*
Finally, I dont have to wonder about the tools falling off the lathe anymore. Now i can sleep peacefully tonight. Nice work as always.
Now that is a very cool idea! Love that blue resin. Put some sound sensitive lights on there and start rocking those CDs. Far out!
13:13 I think it looks good because it makes it look like an optical illusion. It makes it look like the resin is see through and you can see the white mechanism on the inside
I love the two different colors it makes it look like the ocean and the sky
The two colours of the different pours looks like the sky meeting the water.
make the other half a hinged lid with a place to hold CDs
Or a matching Docking station (y)
Great idea Natalie 👍👍
So beautiful!!
The Matrix soundtrack. Excellent choice. I have the CD too and it's one of my favorite movie soundtracks.
RIP Pressure Pot, you served this channel and all it's followers well, you will be sorely missed!
With all the troubles you had in the beginning this is an absolutely beautiful result!! Very cool conversation piece!!

I think its gorgeous! I like how you're incorporating natural wood with tech! I think you're onto something! 🤔
Nick I WANT that CD player.....the colors are exquisite and really pop. Great job. (holds a coffee cup of hot tea to salute you) Cheers to you good sir.
I love the mistake on the CD player! The two tones of blue resin looks like looking at sky and sea from a cave!
Simply amazing!! Also I wonder how many people saw this and thought “what’s a CD player?”
Nick, your projects are becoming better and better. I like everything you make more than the previous one. I hope you don't mind my stealing your idea!
That looks so cool. Really love the light blue and dark blue. I would have maybe used the other peice of wood as a lid. Super interesting project.
Even the commercials are entertaining as hell!
You are totally my favorite channel to smoke some weed and get lost in videos... You're awesome
That is just too cool. I never thought it would turn out so awesome. You've got some really great ideas and you carry them out so well. Love it, love it, love it!! Keep on keeping on at being awesome!
Honestly I think your best projects come out of your mishaps. Keep it up 👍 love seeing the notifications that you’ve put out new videos.
OMG I love this idea ..it’s so pretty the way the wood and the resin mix ,making such an unusual one of a kind piece ..Love this..You can even make a beautiful plate or shallow dish out of the off cut too 😀

and I saw the shirtless pic on Instagram
I know it was so we could see the tattoo, but, damn.
hey, I'm only human.
Nick it might help if you put a magnetic bar on the box under the lathe, the tools will not keep disappearing lol
A new Nick Zammeti creation. Great and beautifully made. Love it. for the top part you can make a clock. ;)
Its Very Nice! I still listen to CDs and Id be pleased to have this to listen to them. Only 1 thing-I think it needs a lid to close when you arent listening, to keep dust off the playing and speaker service.
Thanks for the great project!
Love that masked crusader that kept running through. I literally laughed every time you ran past the camera.
I haven't listened to The Matrix soundtrack in ages!
You're gonna need that sweet sponsor money to buy a new pressure pot! I think your sponsorships are fine, and they are really easy to skip by if it's irrelevant. The project turned out really neat, I'm always impressed when there's any sort of wiring involved.
Oh yeah, Zammeti is back. Excellent piece, love the colours.
That is by far the coolest looking cd player i have ever seen nice job mate
I’m in love with this piece! I need this!🙃So pretty!
That wood is gorgeous, very nice markings throughout it...lovely resin also.
Enjoyed the vid as always Nick.
Stay well✌🏼
This is gorgeous! So sorry about your pressure pot but this is worth it!
Hi Nick your project is once again awesome. If you look at it it looks like a map surrounded by the ocean. Take care
I really liked the coffee bean idea from last video..❤🤗🥰👍
I just love watching you, you crack me up. I hate that you lost your pot, but the project turned out pretty awesome. I was wondering how that huge chunk of wood was going to be a CD player, but you never cease to amaze me.
Hi!
Reminds me of ocean and sandy beach! 🌊🌊😍🌊🌊
The only thing I would do different....no...I would add, is something to put on top to keep dust away.
Kind of an only resin frisbee with a little of that white and blue, maybe a bit shine through.
Just my 2 cents. 😉
Would love to see you put a piece of canvas under a resin and paintball piece and see what the painting looks like after it is turned.
WOW Nick! That is Great! The 2 pours look like where the ocean meets the sky!
That turned out so cool. I love the wood and resin together.
Ocean and Sky CD player. Love it
That is truly GORGEOUS. I was super sad about your pressure pot, but if it had to be sacrificed, at least it died for an amazing project!
