    Use this warm up in your training this week! Warming up really does help to prevent those unnecessary injuries that can take you out of training for weeks and possibly even months! YUK!

    I'm just starting to learn Kali, im really liking it. thanks so much for your video's. I'm having a hard time figuring the double weave. Is there another video I can look at thats shows and explains more on how that movement is done? My brain is have a hard time figuring it out. 😓

    • @kalicenter
      @kalicenter  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +John Blaine Hi John, I'm happy to hear you've starting training Kali. The last strike of the Double Weave is a reverse angle 1. You can also start out with a vertical strike on the last strike per side. Hope that helps. I'm sure I'll be doing a video on it soon. :)

    when u rotate the wrist (forwards and back) all 5 fingers dont leave the stick?I use to do that movement but during the rotation only my thumb and index are there...

    • @wewwew8505
      @wewwew8505 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you do only thumb and index... It can be easily disarmed from you... You need to grip well

      Kali Center Perfect, this is the stuff I was looking for. I was already doing some of these, but now I can see how I should be swinging my sticks. It's a great way to lose calories to. Well, it looks like you have a treasure trove of info, and your video's are more preferable to the Giron Arnis Escrima book I had. By the way, thank you for taking the time to do this.

      You're welcome, and salamat to you to. Since I've started, practicing everyday, my forearms, & my hands are feeling stronger. I used to struggle with my heavier pair of sticks, & the smooth texture didn't help. Anyhow, I have no problem using them now. The same goes with my swords.
