- Special episode today! We made a friend who agreed to have us clean up all the scrap metal in a hoarder's house! There was so much there, it was difficult to know where to start. After filling the truck again and again though, we made a lot of space and a decent amount of money too!

I like it when you say you made a new friend. Sometimes though, you might not be their friend. Old Bean got 2x free days of labor he didn't have to hire someone for, all the cheddar from the scrap, almost $800 big boys if I remember correctly and didn't even help with gas, and of I had to guess he was being paid for that job already. I love the videos, but remember your time and effort are valuable as well for more than just content.
Thub, I think your big heart gets the better of you sometimes. This one was hard to watch as your gas, time & wear & tear on your truck are worth being compensated. Not even lunch ... just wow!! love your videos!! cheers from Ontario!!
Wow I feel like you were taken advantage of, I was a business woman for many years. I'm retired now! Considering the circumstances ,you did an honorable thing. And I think you will think twice before you get in to something like that again
SHELVING. Finally, my area of expertise. Shelves are, on average, 15lbs each for a 4footer. Plus that 4ft piece of extruded aluminum stuck on the front is super easy to remove with a big screwdriver. Couple extra pennies per shelf 😉

My Front Door Neighbor whom was more of an Uncle my whole life before he died when I was ~33, I turn 36 next Fri and I'm living in the front house now (He left it to me and my Wife) He was a Mechanic for the CHP at the Weigh Station for 30+ years. The man was a MASTER with metal and could build anything. I'm STILL clearing out car parts and tools and scrap metal... during 2020 I got by from ALOT of the scrap in my side yard still and was able to survive.
Thub, you deserve to earn more than that. Don't let please use you, I know your not silly but you have a good heart and people see this.

Love the videos. And I know your trying to get your services out. Anytime stuff like this comes along it should be 50/50. I understand its there stuff. But its your labor/time, your fuel, your wear and tear on the truck. I know your a very generous person. Not many people around like yourself. This person shouldve tipped you at the very least.

Dang, Thub! I am absolutely gobsmacked. My mother was a hoarder, and I was in charge of the whole thing. No one who hasn't done it has no clue what it takes to get it to the point we see here. I'm sure they are so relieved to have you for the metal. What a score! Great episode. Think I'll watch it again.
