Lovely tour of Suffolk ! I've only ever stopped off in Southwold once back in the early 80's. As for timeslips, the only other one I know about was on Bold Street in Liverpool, close to where I used to work.
Excellent episode. I think as a small channel, tours like this broaden your appeal greatly. I was based at Honington 75 - 78 and used to explore the area on my C15 and later Speet Twin, so I loved it. Bike looks magnificent.
Lovely bike, great tour, I'll bimble round it on my Mahindra Goldstar, interesting what you said about putting a cam in the 535, I've just fitted a Hitchcocks cam, decat, air filter and fuel healer on a classic 350 for one of our mutual friends, blimey it's woken the 350 up a treat, 20 to 27 bhp and much more ummf.
Another great Video VB, hear in Oz, our settlement history is short so viewing really old buildings from your area during your ride is facilitating to say the least.. I vote to have a look inside the church, great story, it’s like an episode of the old TV series the ‘Twilight Zone’… BTW nice 535 Fury, it’s not too loud.. Phil 🇦🇺👌👍

What I don't like is that the Church of England found a £100m in the pot to "address past wrongs", after its investment fund was found to have historic links to slavery but there's no money in the pot to restore this old church. Kersey is a quaint little village. Those old buildings have so much more character than these new builds. 👍👌😉
Excellent ride out Mr Brown and on a bike which you made yourself , always a bonus ! I also have had a time slip incident , it happened not so long ago . I had occasion to visit the brick outhouse and just as I was getting comfortable, I got notification on my phone of the return of an old TH-camr . Well , I thought I might have just a quick look to see what the old b*gger is up to . Well one thing led to another and as the videos were so enthralling, time began to have no meaning . When I emerged, the birds had stopped singing and the world was silent and dark . I felt my way along the path and entered a house devoid of light and people . I crept up the stairs and fumbled my way into bed , not daring to wonder if the other side was occupied and by whom ( or even by what ) . Suddenly an unearthly voice bellowed into the darkness. " Where the bleedin hell have you been all this time ?" . I stammered that I'd only been gone 10 minutes . But it had been several hours . I call this the " Kharzi Time Slip Incident " . 😊

I'm not a church goer but it's sad to see the old church decaying, symbolic really of England today. Perhaps God has turned He's back on a Badly behaved World 🌎 😳 Great video , thanks.
Great stuff Mr VB! I'd be more than happy to see the church inside. I noticed some of the headstones were quite new looking. It's a thing of mine if I go to a church to look at the ages of the people on the headstones. Some only lived short lives but there are surprisingly long lives lived in the previous times. I must look up why the houses are in those pastel shades too.
@simonchilli2088 Talking about houses painted in pastel shades, I had a mate come down from Newcastle and stop with me for a week. He insisted that I showed him the local sights. We drove through a village and he suddenly shouted STOP! STOP! BACK UP!! I asked what he had seen? He said, there's a pub and it's painted pink! I said yeah, and? he replied If you painted a pub pink up in Newcastle it would be burnt down within the hour!!!
Hi VB, loved that black an white footage, like stepping back in time. The little river running through Chelsworth is the Brett, I’d like to say, know it well but, I cheated I looked on google maps 😔 nice to know Coastrider is keeping an eye on you to. SS

Great video very interesting, like the 535,looks like the perfect bike to go exploring all those out of the way places on,also like the old Suzuki jeep (SJ410?)by the narrow bridge, don't see many of those around now!
535 'Fury' eh ...great to see you VB . When I was a young-fella , I had a ride in a Plymouth-Fury . He told me to try and lean-forward to touch the windscreen as he accelerated.. I couldn't ! Those locations are very-interesting , nothing like this in NZ Dave

Me, living in a big and noisy city and i'm sick of it. I can appreciate the piece and quiet in the countryside but with my engineering profession, can make living from there.
What a cracking video, you remind me of an old boy Jack Hargreaves from the 60s 70s l loved to watch on Southern tv, don't know if you have heard of him. 👍
@williamharris4426 No, they are not cheap. I have converted three of mine now. The Beauty is you can play with the jetting and get it spot on and it makes the ECU just about redundant too!
I've seen the same issue several times after owners have fitted a new Reg/Rec or Boyer power box, they take the easy route & put both output wires direct to the battery terminals bypassing the Ammeter altogether. After all the shortest wiring route must give the best charging, right ?

It's in pretty good shape. It's grade 1 listed and the church conservation trust spend buckets of money on it! Just a shame it doesn't get used.

That was an excellent ride. You covered a lot of one of my cycling routes, looks flat on camera, not so flat when pedalling 🚴.

Non at all! The carburettor is jetted accordingly and the intake has a fine wire mesh.
