    Dear Uber /Lyft driver when you face an aggressive passengers like that refusing to get out your car take your phone and your car keys and after you turn off your car step out of the vehicle dial 911 immediately some riders are crazy they can easily get you from the back .

    Pull over. Kick them out. Say that canceled in the app so you get the $ from the cancellation fee.

    Yes it happened to me. I picked these two guys up from a surge price after a game. And when they got into my car, they canceled. The funny thing is that when they canceled I had it on Bluetooth and pretty loud so I heard it.
    I got confused because it was my first cancelation mid ride, so I pulled over and told them to get out. They said, we will pay u when we get there. Lmfao, fucken dumbasses. I told them again, and they said, are we getting kicked out?!! I was like no shits..... lol

    Thanks for the info. Ive been driving a week and thats one of the "on the job" training things that happens. Now that I know what this looks like and I know how to proceed. Thanks again!
    Also, the three times its happened, its been at the end of the ride! So if I put them out, they're pretty much at the dang stop! Thats what pisses me off now that I realized whats happening. Also, as a newbie, I thought it was the ride in the que waiting that canceled 🤦🏾‍♀️

    This happened to me this morning. A mom requests a trip for her daughter and son to Clifton high school and then changes destination to Clifton middle school. The daughter exits vehicle. The son now tells me to take him to the high school. I told him the ride ended. He asks me to use his cell phone to call his mom. We speak and she agrees to request a ride for her son. I accept ride and she suspiciously request destination to another high school in another town. I call mom and she does not answer. So I graciously take her son to Clifton HS. About 10 seconds before son exits vehicle mom cancels on me. I called mom no answer. I texted her and told her I was reporting her scheme to uber. I called uber asap and was refunded for the ride. I texted the mom and told her she should be ashamed for trying to scam me. My question is does uber do anything to punish these scammers? I dont want this loser to tr y this scam on another driver.

      You should not have continiued that ride at all

      @@justjack3075 Agree. I LEARNED MY LESSON AFTER THIS. Now I cancel on anyone w the slightest attitude or people who make errors w destination because ultimately they blame the driver.

    After you call uber about the mid canceled trip, will uber give the rider a demerit or something bad.

    lol this happened to me multiple times last night. The first time it happened I still took them but Lyft compensated me and told me what the customer tried to do. They obviously charged them but it started to happen so often that I was shocked. I play real stupid and tell them idk why the map isn’t coming up but if it doesn’t come on in 5minutes I have to cancel and they have to order a new ride. LAST NIGHT ON A SATURDAY NIGHT A GROUP CANCELED AT THE STOP AND when they got out the female said she was going to complain. Lyft contacted me and said driver claimed I was impersonating the driver. 😂 I was like ummm no they were just mad they canceled mid ride. Also, if I’m impersonating a driver why would you get back in the car after canceling? Aren’t you afraid and would rather cancel and order a new ride instead of getting back in the car. When I was at the stop they also joked about giving me 4 stars and I said well “there’s always at least one hater and I’m okay with that”. They canceled prior to making that remark so they were well aware they were lying. The audacity to complain and lie and say that I was impersonating the Lyft driver is WILD! These people are so damn low class and low lives scum bags.

    Can you show examples with the app to know if a rider cancels mid ride? I think it has happened a few times to me.

    What happens when I get a Lyft pick up Request and after I accept
    the Request, I *Lose Reception* to my Waze GPS and I *cannot* even pick up my passenger ???
    I cannot tell you how many dozens and dozens of times that has happened to me. Grrrrr !!!

      I would never do car pooling , Lyft or Uber. To much confusion and inpatient riders.

      Always use the Lyft or Uber maps. They are better in my opinion.

    What do you do if a passenger dose a shared ride and 2 people get in the car but it’s telling me I’m only picking up 1 passenger?

      You can adjust it manually in the beginning of the ride, before you start the trip.
