The Yukon Police Department received an anonymous call alerting them to a non-emergency situation. And what unfolded for a little boy with autism is a memory his family will always remember.
My mom wouldn’t be one of those parents when I was a kiddo. He definitely would’ve had at least one kid to play with at his party...This video is heartbreaking but also sweet in the end.

Think for about 30 seconds and you can come up with a way to explain kids with special needs to your child. Or if you're really lazy, google it. But still... they don't bother.
I love autistic kids having worked with kids with autism for over 25 years I can truly say are the most interesting and fun to be around kids ever. I'll take 40 kids with all spectrum;s of autism over 10 of today's ungrateful brats any day
They had one where the boy invited his whole class but NO ONE responded. His mother posted that it was SOO heartbreaking. Well, next they knew EVERYONE came. We’re talking complete strangers, the Police, the Fire department and a Police helicopter flew around the house a few times. This went on for a few days. Man that kid got presents (not that was the important part).
At least they called to say they couldn’t make it. One six year old boy in Orlando couldn’t even get that, just zero phone calls & the family left hanging. Thank you Yukon P D for being there for this family. God Bless.

Something similar happened a couple years ago with my brother's Bday. We invited a lot of people had 2 piñatas lots of food ect. And 1 boy came... our neighbor. But those two had so much so it turned out well.
That kid can say he had pretty much the entire police force show up to his birthday party when he was little. Probably a cooler experience than the 3rd birthday of any of his peers. Good on the police for doing this. Nice to see cases of them being wholesome public servants.
The thing is, you wont get this over here in the UK. No matter what, some cops can be arseholes, but these cops... are the good ones. We need more like them over here in England

Just like my autistic brother graduation party he was bullied in high school and the school system said that he reached his full compassity of learning in the 4th grade and we invited all of elwood to his party which was supposed to be tomorrow because he defied the odds and graduated high school and no one is going to come so we cancelled it and we are just heartbroken . Im so glad that your son got his party
The police are good/kind/helpful. I think it is when people are carrying guns and they fear for their life and are stress out things happen that are not good. My area has awesome policemen. Many are former military and gave their life to help America and are still giving their life in a risky job. It is safer in Iraq than in America sometimes. I am glad they showed this story. God bless them and protect them!
HOW can Some people be so stupid and treat a person like that!! No matter What a person has a discontinuation or not they are still a human. What the police officers did was beautiful.
I think it is ofinsive that people do not treat people with autism like real people we are people to. Not everyone deserves to be alone it just is not fair. Even I do not get treated with respect sometimes. It just is not fair.

My 3 year old son LOVES police officers. He met some at the mall (not mall cops real ones lol) a few weeks ago and they took a photo with him. It was so cute. Then he met some at an event at the park the other day and got to sit in a police car. So glad this little boy got to meet them too.
