  • I'm repotting my neon pothos into a hanging planter today! We are also chopping up some vines to propagate to share with friends.

Great tips. This plant really does look a lot better in person. Just received my 6in pot of neon pothos and absolutely stunning

Subscribed. I really liked how you not only showed how to propagate, but also how to pot up and care for it. Thanks for taking the time to tell us all about it. Cant wait until our Neon Pothos is as nice as yours.

Yay! So glad you enjoy your Neon pothos too Sharon! I tend to err on the side of less water is best

I am new to the plant world and have a few questions about this one. I have one at home for a month or two and is doing really well. How do I know when do I have to repot it? Can I do it any time of year or when is the best time? When I try and propagae it... How long do they have to stay in water before I put them in the soil?

May I recommend, based on my experience on neon marble golden pothos, when they stop growing or growing the leaves smaller and smaller, or they are easily thirsty after watering, then that's the time to check the pot if they are rootbound. I think it's better to repot during warmer months or spring but u may repot anytime I think as long as after repotting, u will just water in small amt during cold months and full water if warm, just bcoz they don't grow much in cold/winter time. Pothos are prone to root rot. Propagation, if roots are shown in 2-3 inches, no matter what season, need to transfer to soil and make it moist for 1month, then after that make sure to let it dry B4 watering since they have aldy adjusted to soil

Hi Angie! I used a 7 inch Ceramic pot that I purchased from Amazon

I wish you wouldn't have clipped the video when you were removing the plant from the pot. That's the whole reason I'm here.. Terrified of damaging the roots 😩

Oh no! Pothos roots are pretty hardy, if you gently massage the plant out of the pot it will be just fine.
