I think when it's get bigger and having a lot of established roots, it will grow faster esp in spring time. I bought 2 months ago a 125mm pot size with 5 leaves & I killed it less than a week coz of transplanting right away, then I bought one in a hanging basket with 4 45cm long hanging stems trailing & since it is spring down here, it gave me 9 leaves already in a month and still thriving. Sure it is grow faster than my golden pothos which is also in 125cm. We have to be patient I think for ur cutting.
Hi Nell, I have a rather large Neon Pothos and I love this plant so much, I love the bright color of the leaves and some of mine have little splashes of darker green which I find fascinating, almost like it's variegated. Thanks again, stay safe and healthy, see you soon, sending love and hugs, bye for now.
YES one of my fav plants, as well, as the thanskgiving cactus, most of my collection of 400 house plants, are pothos and cactus, the neon i find harder, to grow, so often do them in water, but i do both ways, they are just a delish plant, suzanne here
Suzanne here again, i grow most of my pothos in water because, they do not wilt or get root rot in water, and i just love water gardening, so much less hassell than soil, especially pothos
Suzanne here, i bought 3 neons for like 5.99 each some years back, and i have tons now, took cuttings and i have them every where in water jars, i have a huge one here by my computer that has been in water for 4 years now, in an east window under a lamp, it is enormous, and they do get huge , really quick in water, this and the njoy are my two favorites, of all the pothos, i also love the plain dark green and the only way to find that one is to keep it in low light haha and it turns dark green, i am not a fan of the yellow and green ones much so i only have one of those , the white and green njoy is just to die for, they are hard to find at times, but they also grow very very well in water
Hello Nell! I hope all is well with you. Thank you for posting a video on the Neon Pothos. This is my first Pothos and bought it because of it's vibrant color. I also noticed one of the leaves had a splash of dark green in it which I thought was beautiful! Always enjoy your videos and thank you for sharing your passion!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I recently bought a Manjula Pothos, could you please do a care/tips video? I have other Pothos in my collection, but I can't tell when it needs water.
I have a question, I was wondering if during your time having a pothos, have u noticed that the leaves fall off, like on trees?? I have cats and I want to keep my pothos up high anyways, I'm just worried about any falling leafs since it would be free hanging from my ceiling. I loved your video and I hope to keep my plant alive and thriving with your tips
Dan - They love the sun & heat. There is a variety (not remembering the name) which grows in somewhat cooler temps. I love the color of the foliage & flowers. Nell
Hi!!! I live in Las Vegas and I have a 10inch neon pothos indoors and its now getting some yellow. Which does worry me. I do water once a week. But now I am starting to water every 4days. Because of the yellowing.
I have some cuttings from my daughters plant and the leaves are still kind of limp, I had in water then I put in a pot with good soil and J have only water it once a week fir the last two weeks but it’s still limp can you help me?
So are those brown lines on the stems normal? I just got a neon pathos and was scared that it was either too dry or getting burned by the sun. Also, would you say hanging outdoors would be too harsh? It gets direct sunlight during the afternoon so it may be too much.
A neon Pothos was my first houseplant and I love it so much! I’ve had it for 3 months and it’s been a great learning experience
I bought mine two weeks ago and I am so excited to see it grow (if I don’t kill)
How’s that first plant doing? I hope well!
I brought a cutting home when I went to visit my friend in North Carolina, and I would say she is growing slowly.

Any idea why my neon pothos isn’t trailing? It’s growing a lot of new leaves but no trailing at all.
Amazing 👍
im so confused because my "golden pothos" looks more like neon potho It doesnt look like golden at all
