Hey Cole, I love love that you would share this story and sound samples with us. Just a thought, I know Chris says he doesn't want them now, but I feel like owning the prototypes from the process of making a signature cymbal is something that is incredibly special and personal to an artist, and he may want to revisit those specific sounds / features after the bitterness of the moment passes. It would suck to sell them off to have him wish he could get them back later. Maybe Meinl has a few of each of these in storage, but if they don't then each one of these is a one of a kind ride with a one of a kind sound.
Hi Spencer, your point is totally taken and if Chris, at any point, says he'd rather get them back, I'll immediately take the video down and make that happen. That said, I trust him and take him at his word, and don't feel it's right to hold on to them waiting for Chris to change his mind. I don't know the exact timeline, but I don't get the sense this just happened. Again, if I get even the slightest hint that he might want them back I'll 100% hold on to them.
Hi, love the video and it is sad that they were stolen. I hope the people who did this are caught and prevented from doing this to others. Thanks for the heart and sounds as well. What would you sell them for? I am not sure but am curious.
I feel the same! We were able to find their profiles on Facebook so fingers crossed. I'm thinking $500 per ride plus shipping. A little less than a new one, a little more than a normal used one.
@@ColeParamore Cool, hope it happens catching them. Okay, yes I'll have to pass but I appreciate the opportunity to buy them. I hope you sell them quick and easy. Keep making this awesome content!
@lees5410 Agreed. Stealing like this from anyone is terrible, but to do this to Chris Coleman? Chris Coleman is always about bringing positivity to the drumming world. I'm glad Cole was able to recover them.
I am interested, I don't know how much these would cost but I love Coleman and am inspired by him. Would you share how much you'd like for these in a DM? I'm not on IG. Thanks Cole and good luck with the sale!
Sure thing - I don't think TH-cam has DMs but I'm thinking $500 per ride plus shipping. A little less than new, a bit more than a used one, which I think feels about right.
@@ColeParamore aww ... thats roughly the cost of a his final version :( + with shipping and possibly customs :X (if you re going to Europe for vacation bring n1 with you I ll take it : D)
@@TheAtherion Right - I think some folks would sell these for a premium considering they're 1 of 1 custom cymbals and owned by the artist himself. To me it seems more than fair to have it below the price of a new one. Wish shipping + customs weren't a thing, but alas. Cheers!
Good call on the charity thing, Cole! And kudos to Chris for being OK with it all.
Thanks Bill! My first preference would have definitely been to get them back to Chris, but this seemed like the next best thing.
WOW! The fact that another fellow drum nerd got a hold of those cymbals. Crazy.
And you contacted him & he responded. Cool!

The number 1 ride sounds so good what’s the model?
These are all prototypes for Chris Coleman's signature ride.
Cymbals aside, your dog is adorable. What breed is it?
Ha! Thanks, that's Bowie the Stardog - he's mostly cockapoo, with a smattering of random small breed mixed in.
Pricing?
Hey Josh! If you're able, shoot me a message on Instagram or Facebook. @coleparamoredrums on Insta.
@@ColeParamore done!
Still have these?
I do - I've had several people interested so far but at the moment all are still available.
Plot Twist: Cole is the one who stole them all along.
Interested and sent you a message on instagram, via your drumming account.
