Does this repair require a special tool to insert the seal? Also does the metal housing the seal passes thru need to be smooth without any sharp metal?
Man quick question I have 2017 Freightliner cascadia I noticed while I parked I hear a noice coming from down the transmission I checked it up while the truck running and parked that drivershaft which is connected to the transmission plays like turns and that noice clunky comes front that suckers also I’m trying to put it in gear it’s just stays on N when I put it on reverse it’s changed to R and goes reverse but as soon I put in in forwards Doesn’t move then I turn off the truck for a min then turn it back on put it on drives it goes ok
Driveshaft problem could only be vibration while driving at a certain speed due to worn gear or driveshaft bushing worn/broken. Your problem is transmission issues gear is not engaging.
@@Sim-77s thanks for quick response yeh something related with transmission I believe also but I I’m confused when I drive I don’t have any vibrations it’s just flying but as soon I pull over I parked stays idle that Driveshaft like youjoint connected to transmission plays turns on and back couple times make a loud noice then stops like annoying noise man to be honest I hate this Freightliner cascading to many unexpected issues when I m very strictly taking care it on time . Thanks 🙏 any way God bless !
Time to get a clean shirt after this:)
