Would you ever consider putting some perches in the outside area of the love shack? Or trying to grow a grass area that you could connect to the original fence?
@@PattiP1964 I think it helps the chickens to feel comfortable with Cody when he opens up the barn and touches them if they are still purched up on the wall as he comes in.🤗
They are among the oldest set of chickens he has in the homestead, so they are very used to Cody handling them. Bonnie is the first hen that Cody and Echo befriended. It's so cute seeing her be carried again❤

Beautiful moon ❤. One of my good friends passed away from Cancer and the last song he wrote was Sun and Moon. He would love that moon. Sometimes I see the outline of his face show thru. BTW Cody, I think the snowball's perch is too close to the wall, that's why it ruffles their tail.

The floof difference between lil Rowe & Pants is massive, Pants is so beautiful. Rufio probably ready for chicken jr to leave😄she was picking on him that day he crowed while back. Mean girl w lots of sass. Rufios got his hands full now, too bad burt can’t keep anymore ladies, they keep flying over😁. At 19:30 i seen green/purple iridescent on that one snowball you were moving, more boys. But you have gotten alot of ladies. Lucys color has changed alot, she was grey now she’s getting some brown & white w a huge flared tail, still very beautiful but unique. Her and anna don’t even look like the same bird. You sure do have alot of beautiful hens

I hope everyone settles in and is happy with their new Rooster. Though going from the recent shorts it looks like some ladies don't like the idea of having new hens around them. Fingers crossed no one got hurt in any scuffles, I don't remember seeing the chickens really being violent with each other. Only thing that comes to mind is when Rufio attacked Sammy and his comb was bloody.

Buff orpingtons are very friendly breed and kids handle them like dolls☺️
