I think the first dish is fried bread with minced pork spread and Thai cucumber pickles (vinegar,sugar,salt, chilli ) they always give you when you order satay ,fish cake or other deep fried dishes . Eat meat first and eat pickles . Enjoy your day. That island is so chill and a lot of food.
