In the artbook you get more lore on where the characters (humans) come from and even one of the most recent twitter comics. Humans are spread out everywhere now due to aliens having taken over however many hundreds of years ago it has been. Since they've been dragged around as pets, abandoned in certain areas, and experimented on they're kinda just...wherever aliens are now too. Some are 'strays' and live in the slums on the street. Some are literally from breeding facilities or human mills (Till was born into one of those and eventually separated from his 'provider' when he was like... maybe three-ish if I was to go off of his appearance in the comic.) And some really are just created from tubes and crafted to be a certain way (Luka is like this and was the result of many others before him having been created and discarded). It is mentioned that some of the strays or characters are found to have special 'genes' due to aliens breeding and crafting humans a certain way for X amount of years (Ivan falls into this category despite having been a slums baby for instance). And some aliens hook their pets up with another in order to get siblings or the like (Hyuna and her brother). So in any way that you think you could get a regular pet in the real world (mostly) is how you could get a pet human in this universe. It's... all kind of messed up. But Vivinos is not afraid to go there. She's stated before though humans are regularly sold like this... as pets and as simple experiments. In regards to Till's performance...! He was supposed to have sung a different song entirely. They told him NOT to sing Unknown Till the End but he said fuck that, did so anyway, and that's why Acorn (the character he was up against) just couldn't counter or properly sing. Till wasn't doing what he was supposed to from the start. RIP Acorn. It's underhanded, but he was doing his best to survive and get through for his goal of protecting Mizi.

There is a tiny bit of info that exists on Acorn, though the rest wasn't in the artbook. It was part of a different book that released with like... graduation notes all to each other. Some of the messages were on the Patreon too .Acorn's message to till was just "You're talented. I'll give you that.' According to his message to Sua, he had also confessed to her and was rejected before.
Finally got to this in my watch later queue! the two on the motorcycle are Issac and Dewey, I finally realized that the reason why Luka looks shocked in all in is because his fingertips are turning blue, its really easy to miss imo, I am currently gnawing at the bars of my enclosure for a part two
It seemed to me like Till did at least accept Ivan's affections, at least at the very end after he lost Mizi. I personally like to headcanon it was sooner and they had a second fiddle situation going on for a while, but it is particularly heart wrenching to think Till only went along with Ivan's advances after he thought Mizi died and might not have if he knew she was alive. Clearly Till didn't return Ivan's feelings to the extent Ivan yearned for him though. Ivan's obvi on some "you are my god" shit even if he doesn't say as much explicitly, he is the one character we see successfully sacrifice himself for the person he loves.

I recently got into Alien Stage and I'm suffering because no matter what I do, I can never escape doomed yaoi/yuri 😭It's in every piece of media I get into My fave is probably Ivan, but I love Hyuna too. They also sing my favorite Alien Stage songs and Hyuna has the coolest music video :) The animation in that one makes my artist brain happy

when round 6 dropped my friend messaged me like "hey. you like milgram. you were huge on kagepro back in the day. why havent you watched alien stage" so i was like cool ill watch alien stage and i, too, was left feeling concussed after the VERY FIRST SONG/VIDEO. i was like omg aw theyre lesbians harold....sua is mizis "god"...and then. literally took my breath away. I THOT THIS WAS ALL FUN AND GAMES!!!!!! I WAS WRONG. i also love luka i think he and ivan are my favorites bc they parallel each other so much in their obsessions...with luka i genuinely think hes been waiting for hyuna to find him for years. to kill him. i need you to keep in mind this is a 30 year old man who is like chronically ill and ailing because he was bred for specific genetic traits like a pug so he has all these health issues and hes just a ticking time bomb and he wants hyuna to kill him soooo bad please hyuna haha look at me being crazy on stage tormenting the girls and the gays do you remember when i traumatized you as a kid and accidentally killed your brother can you come kill me haha. i need it to be you. i cant keel over and let my body give out and i cant lose to someone else i need it to be you hyuna. my belief in this was enhanced when i saw the video just titled 'ALIEN STAGE' set to the track "sweet dream" (sung by sua, with accompaniments from everyone) and during one of the parts at the very end, when it goes "now i live in darkness" (showing sua on screen) "bring me brightness" (showing mizi) and then when the line repeats we see ivan and till with "darkness" & hyuna and luka with "brightness". interestingly, the body language here is important too; sua and mizi are both facing away from the camera, so we only see their backs, but ivan is holding onto till like a dance partner as till leans away, his head angled and gaze averted from ivan, who is focused wholly on him - while with hyuna and luka, LOL, oh my god, the line "bring me brightness" when its luka on his knees holding onto her thigh while she grabs him by the jaw and holds a knife to his face and he looks up at her with such adoration & relief like he wants this to be the end so so bad ITS MAKING ME CRAZYYY All this to say in an ideal world ivan and luka match each others freak. sorry. speaking my truth. sorry. great video. i like alien stage a normal amount
You should look at luka lore fr. People forget that hes equally as traumatized as everyone else and very much also abused ( shown by how the aliens liked to experiment on lukas heart by stopping it multiple times)
