20:30 actually, that scene (as well as every other bill scene before weirdmaggedon/dipper and mabel versus the future) takes place exclusively in the mindscape (basically, it just takes place in the minds/dreams of whoever is present). if you look after his debut scene in dreamscaperers, gideon and the others have their eyes closed but wake up quickly, confirming that all of that stuff with bill appearing in the sky just happened in their minds, and in reality they were probably just standing still with their eyes closed.

Man, I think I'll never grow tired from listening to people rumbling about shows I love. Good video ^^ When I was watching the show the first time, I dreamt about visiting Gravity Falls and going on adventures with twins. I even attempted to write a fic with my OC. Only got to five chapters though :'( If I had to make an OC now, it'd be a young woman who hasn't figure out her life yet. Her college life took a huge toll on her, she's in a lot of stress and on the verge of burnout and her neurodivergency does not help. But instead of sending her to therapy or smt, when she shares her struggles, her mum (she lives with mum, yes) aranges for her to spend an entire summer in the small town in Oregon, living with her aunt -_- Something about fresh air, change of place and what not. My girlie takes it in stride and tries to be optimistic about it. Gets hit with weirdness of the town and almost dies in the first week lol. Strangely, it doesn't deter her. No, she feels... alive? She starts investigating stuff carefully, being very curious about the town's story and all the secrets that reside there, which often leads to her getting in too deep anyway and merely avoiding danger. She's lucky af. Has a part time job in her aunt's shop, cause she doesn't want to be too much of a burden to her. Can't for the life of her hang out with people her age. Her friend group consists of old people, these weird twins that arrived in the same time as her and local cats. Loves people rumbling about stuff, finds it endearing. Invested in old guys' lore and finds getting along with them easier. Did not befriend twins intentionally, she doesn't know how she got here (Mabel, probably). Hates Gideon with a burning passion, but tells herself every time that it'd be inappropriate for 21 year old to kick a literal child, even if he deserves it
This was super fun! I definitely want more! If you didn’t know the gravity falls box set has dvd commentary for every episode. If you type in gravity falls episode commentary you can find them all on TH-cam. Alex and the staff are super extensive on how things were made, it’s fascinating how much was actually not planned. Like Bill being the final bad guy wasn’t planned until season 2, or how Alex didn’t even want to make a season 2, with his co writer for season 1 bailing after season 1. They’re great. A great example of how you can make great things by rolling with the punches.
When Bill was told to go in Stanford's mind, he went "Wait, Stan Pines..." showing an image of what looks to be Ford, then the tattoo thing that Stanley experienced. So likely Bill just processed what Gideon meant as the real Stanford wasn't in 46*\. Plus shortly after Ford disappeared into the portal, Bill taunted him (as per Roundtable documenting Fords journey through dimensions. We're pretty settled it was Bill who called the vending machine secret boring (while trolling us). I gotta wonder, if Odette interacted with each of the main cast at all, what would it be like or each?
Indeed, the twins would've gone to 8th grade after S2, as Mabel said "just one more year before high school" I believe early promos had Gideon said to be age 9, but he a birthday offscreen during the summer, as the 10 year flashback showed baby him on a sign. Tho the white tuft got contradicted by the invisible ink saying the amulet that Journal 2 features may whiten your hair (likely an oversight on Alex's part). The GF school is also where Gideon discovered Journal 2.
29:19 In the episode he mentally trying to find who Gideon is talking about we can see his projection to Stan Burn mark and then image of his Current self because he KNOW Ford been push into the portal so Stan was to him a "Side character" someone he didnt even pay attention until that moment (Much to his downfall later)
If I can't get out of Gravity Falls in time, then I can only hope my deathformation is swift. Because I definitely will both die and transform at the same time there XD

Okay I need to share my specific experience with Gravity Falls because I got into it when it started airing it and I kept watching it until we switched cable providers and I no longer had Disney Channel that was after not what he seemed premiered and before a tale of two stands did so I just found out about Sans Secret Twin Brother and then I couldn't watch the rest of the show

I eventually watched it because I was on a trip with my family and during it my brother was rewatching it, and I thought it looked interesting. I'm kinda disappointed because since I had randomly seen out of context scenes from watching my brother watch it, I already knew Stan had a brother and there was something to do with a portal, so that wasn't a surprise to me.

Keeps a camera and a notebook on her to appear as a journalist but inside the notebook is mostly just sticky notes and scribbles of things she's heard. Thanks for asking and making me think 😂
