He IS being a kid, Afghani way. Same as in the last 2000 or 5000 years. Respect that. FWIW a farm kid in Europe or USA would also be helping family. Feeding the chickens or pigs, picking fruit or vegetables, whatever.

The economy of Afghanistan is in such poor shape that he doesn't have the freedom to choose. He has to work whether he wants to or not, that's sad. The majority of our lives are spent being working adults, and every child should be able to enjoy their childhood without worrying about getting enough money to pay the bills.

These….I wouldn’t call Fries, they are QuaLity ChiPS with ReaL Potatoe and some sort of batter and flavouring added. I would assume DeLicious, but here in the UK, unless you go to a Traditional British Fish&Chips shop you’ll only get Fries ELsewhere. And that is FLour with Potatoe PeeL grinded into a paste.
