    This is the third tornado to hit Tennessee ever since the virus started scaring everybody. To see y'all drive out of your state to come help with the resources and talents you have is really inspiring. Thank you from Tennessee!!

      Time, money, and energy to travel out of state may be to work and earn an income. True. But there’s a lot of sacrifice to do it. Time away from family. Travel expenses. Dealing with unfamiliar situations because a town is trying to recover from tornadoes, let alone during quarantine. Kudos to those who do this, because it is never just for the money.

    • @lucasenglish8767

      @@danip3270 absolutely. as someone who's had to travel for work to help out with big causes like this, it's a tremendous stress and takes a toll. sometimes you have to put more than just your personal life on hold. cancel local work, pull resources, plan logistics, etc. money is nice if you cant make it a tax write off but it takes some real compassion to go the extra mile ( or several hundred). you're right, it's never just about the money.

    Oh my goodness. As I live in Scotland, I have never had to experience the terror of a tornado. What I found interesting about this video is it’s showing of the extreme cleanup required and the somewhat bazaar, almost random path of a tornado. Houses across the street, or even next door remain untouched. I am so sorry there was such loss of life. Property can be repaired, but life... stay safe everyone.

    • @jessicah3450
      @jessicah3450 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah they cut a path and they also skip around. There was one here last year, and a bunch of the garage doors looked like they got sucked off the house. The air pressure changes so fast it can break windows. Some houses were destroyed but just a few houses over looked almost untouched. Luckily no one was seriously hurt.

The kids in my apartment complex are zoned at this school. Thank you for coming to Chattanooga to help.

    Thank you so much for going and helping a school. I know that some would not prioritize cleaning a school while we are in quarantine but the amount of water in that school could have been catastrophic without a professional team if it had been left to sit. Teachers are going to be so thankful that they will hopefully not have to deal with bacteria and bug issues due to the help you are providing so quickly.

    In January the roof of the hall where my classroom got blown off, and the sprinkler system broke pouring water into my classroom. It was amazing because when I went to grab what I could all of the district maintenance workers and many of the janitors were there getting the water out and throwing away what was damaged. By the evening they had that hall dry and had a temporary roof on to keep any more water getting in from rainfall.

    How do you find an out of area emergency job like that? Is there a Facebook group for servpro-type contractors? Or on an insurance contact list?

    Can you use Dyson V11 Outside on pre vacuum? You will save environment by using bagless vacuum cleaner with Hepa filters. So no dust will come out. Even smoke cant.
