I love your imagination and how you can see what is in the piece as i develops. THE 3 facet really works. i really like the fact that u you do all your work without resins and fillers to make the wood stable, but MAN do you take a beating on some of these pieces. 10 thumbs up.

Not too fancy, and the 3 facets help add to the character of the piece. Best of all, nothing broke and flew off. Those see through cracks always make me nervous for you. Great piece!! 💖💖

Hi Phil from Phil, Madrona turned out to look a nice piece of work, I think the facets look good, Over the last week or so I’ve been Listening to Viking and Nordic type music and I’ve come across some websites / TH-cam link , And have found some artisans that make beautiful sculptures out of driftwood I think you’d like to get your hands on some of this it looks amazing, And the guys who are playing the music who is using the sculptures as part of the film set very large dear sculptures, I left a comment about it I replied back and said a few weeks later after the filming that somebody had vandalised the sculptures how sacrilege is that people put their time and effort into making something , and then get some scumbag come along and vandalise it, As per usual a great piece wood turning with amazing piece of art at the end of it.
I hope you are both keeping safe and well, Look forward to your next adventure, Phil from the moulin France.

I vote that the three facets fit the piece well. Glad you are doing well enough to keep the videos coming. I learn a lot from each one. I got some live oak burls in varying sizes recently and have turned one already. It made a fun rustic bowl with a chip is the outer wall near the top and an irregular hole near the bottom. Wouldn't have stuck with the piece before I started watching your projects. Thanks Phil. We all appreciate you!

Cool, thanks, Robert! Ya know, I just mentioned in the video I'm now making, that if this was my first piece like this I would have given up. But, experience tells me to hang in there, it will be worth it in the end. It's nice to know you've experienced that, too! 😊
