Nice review. I am still waiting for the cost of entry to include the wash and cure station since those seem to be mandatory to get the prints finished.
They really arent, but you can get a used resin printer and a wash cure for arround the price of this printer.elagoo sells used refirbs official via their website
A large bucket with a lid would work for a wash station. Long gloves for reaching into it. Just fill it with isopropyl. For curing, a large tub to put your uncured minis in after washing and you can put it outside in the sun or by a large window sill.
I would strongly recommend adding an enclosure, an exhaust and some hepa+carbon filter to the cost of entry, the cheapest you can go with a decent quality is creality enclosure+exhaust system+alveo3d filter or if you find a suitable one just some air purifier spare filter with carbon+hepa13 which will set you for around 100€/$/£, don't go with creality sla printer enclosure, the filter and fan there just downright bad and the structure is not rigid, trust me, I've returned that one. Don't neglect your lungs while printing, it's important. Cheers!
@@nickxx9729 basic ventilation is enough, while we know vocs are bad, there really isnt a lot if data on how bad, i have mine in a room with a costant fan an its been fine for years
That outro always makes me smile. "Paint some fantastic miniatures, and you're gonna, I promise"; sounds like the kind of encouragement you'd get from a more experienced hobbyist.
I'm sure there's going to be plenty of comments regarding this but, unless something has changed it is highly advised to remove your supports before you cure your models. I save my supports and look for pieces to use with ruined buildings as metal framework.
I like em, they’re shaped like friends. I could imagine my quar as a farmer of some kind, just chilling and trying to survive. That kinda story makes me happy.
I have been thinking about getting a 3D Printer, but I live in a small appartment so a resin-pinter isn't an option for me and FDM is less usable for miniatures.
In my opinion, small build plate with good resolution is very important for printing detailed miniatures. And large miniatures in resin are, in any case, an acquired taste. This printer is good for printing important things. For example, Quars.
I’m gonna be real I would recommend the anycubic mono 2 as a starter this one has a lot of cool features but you don’t really need them and the mono 2 drops equal or below the price of a combat patrol from gw regularly but the biggest benefit is size a lot more people have issues of printers being too big then you would think so it’s good for someone who doesn’t have the space but it’s not perfect the slicer is getting better but still sucks, the flash drive might have been made out of duck tape and the factory might not know how to put the feet on level.
A lot of the s4 ultra owners i know have a lot of issues with their s4s, i got an s3 ultra and its still on its original pfa fep from 6 months ago. But i know my way arround a printer

You know what would be great to print
SOME SPACE QUARINESS
being on recovery due to a broken aem last week, seeing your videos really help scratching my painting pause, please keep it up with the good work!!
TURNIP MENTIONED LESS GOOOOOOOO
I want a 3d Printer for a year now to print Terrain and stuff for my Chaos Knights etc. Video comes at the right time. Well done mate
I love the Akira nod in the pose of that second biker, someday I’ll get into 3D printing and egloo definitely seems to be the way to get started
Mr. Quar has good taste ;)

Yeah removing the supports before curing will help remove the Knicks on your smoother surfaces.
Hurray! Thank you for making this!
Quar.
I am pleased.

Looks like a very nice little machine! Appreciate the review!!!

G'day Mash!
Ayyyy 🤙
Now that you are doing reviews, could you please do a review of an airbrush? There are just so many factors that make it hard to find a good one
When Elegoo threw you a free printer was one of the deals calling it noob friendly
nupe, just thought it was fitting lel.
Nice review. But watching the models curing with supports still on them did hurt. Remove them before curing is makes for much better results.

MISH MASH!!
always wanted a printer
I recognized the background song Essence od the Machine lol
Mish, what type of glue do you recommend for these 3d prints?
My go to for 3d prints is usually Loc-tite gel, and a spritser bottle with water for quicker activation when needed.
Super glue is your best bet, Tamiya won't work on resin. Super glue I use is cyanoacrylate
What flavor resin did you get?
8k space grey!

hi!
cant believe I had to waste 300$ on mine because i"m not a youtuber.
Wouldn't call it a waste. It's a great little printer
You also didn't film and edit a bunch of 3D printer videos either.
