    You have designed the bldc as usual with transparent acrylic as you do in all your projects but here particularly when working in the field of electromagnetism some basic rules must be followed i.e The stator should be made up of metal instead of any non magnetic material (acrylic in this case). As you have mentioned that you're designing a powerful bldc motor you should use a metal stator to make it powerful in order to make it meet specifications mentioned in thumbnail and description(because not every time the visual appearance do the job of meeting the efficiency of a device)

      Thanks for that added note, I expect it would increase the power a lot. (I wonder how much torque he got? I would like to have seen a measurement.)

      @dasich5338 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not so fast
      The stator core has not to be metallic (it is preferably to be non-conductive). Mentioned metal(steel) stator will introduce max flux saturation and also increase inductance = rpm limit. Not saying about switching losses (though it can limit flus leakage)

    • @lukalicina8230
      @lukalicina8230 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dasich5338 Thats why the stator core is made up from isolated stacked and glued plates of steel specifically designed to maximise the magnetic field of the wire windings, thus limiting (due to isolation of steel plates) the max flux saturation of the core! I belive this is how it is, i may be wrong doe cause im a rookie myself!

      @1queijocas ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@lukalicina8230 You are correct and dasich is wrong, it should be made of a particular steel alloy made up from multiple different stacks glued together as you've mentioned. Additionally, the thickness should be higher enough as to avoid magnetic saturation in the metal

    On electric wheel, The windings would be in the center assembly , and magnets on the outside.
    This can also be a upgraded to a electric wheel. With a larger drum wheel. The center assembly for this would be a strong mount.

    Love your content, thank you for all the work. I have a question, though. Which coils are connected to the posts? This is where I have problems; how to connect everything. There are twelve coils. Wind first one, skip two, wind. Is this pattern continued throughout? How do you know which coils to tie together? I assume that you connect the coils the way they were wound, giving three phase power. How do you know where to power it? A video to show the final connections would be extremely helpful. Again, thanks for these videos! I am learning a lot. :)

    Would this motor be more efficient by using steel inside the wound coils Sir ?? Nice work too.

    You may be try using ferrite inserts instead of PMMA pieces inside coils... that transformers on LCD display invertors may become a source to facilitate that

    very extraordinary, and give us the experience of using used goods? for example, the former water pump is converted to a 24 volt BLDC or the fan engine is re-wound plus the torque? Thank You.

    I just extracted magnet's from over 30 similar hard drives. I wonder I'd I can use them in a slightly different way. I mean on the sides, because they are not square. They are like piece of circle.
