I hate how one of the endings requires you to back out of a room before the door closes so you feel encouraged to go and try it elsewhere and it softlocks you
@@andrewcaldwell917 I played the game and went through all the endings and explored on the 1.04 release, then backtracked and recorded all the glitches I found on the 1.05 development branch to ensure they still happened, which was what was patched recently. I removed recordings of the Games Ending doors not functioning because I was unable to replicate the glitches in the 1.05 patch, so assumed they were fixed, for instance. All of these are still working on the current version. Some may be fixed for 1.06, and if they are, I will denote them with "[Fixed]" as I usually do for my videos.
The large 3-D collectibles sign in the Expo is intangible and you can get behind it without cheating. Go up the stairs to its right, hop on the plant. and then you should be able to make it behind the letters and should be able to go through the letters.
3:02 would be cool if the narrator picked up on that and said “Stanley even if you are trying to escape from me that will not help you I’m afraid. You’re stuck and this complex will still blow up! Better luck next time”
I have serious doubts that it’s a glitch (or at least one that wasn’t intentional) as it would’ve been patched out a long time ago if you were never supposed to jump, and wouldn’t bother with a certain hidden Easter egg involving a popular RPG also released in 2022.
I recently found a glitch in 1.07 on Linux, where, if you see the "whiteboard ending" office on restarting the game, you can hug the right edge of the door leaving Stanley's office, and the graphics will glitch out. From here you can either walk through the door and get the "normal" office, or walk back into Stanley's office to fall out of bounds. The game resets when you've fallen far enough, so I guess you could call it a secret ending.
Continuum_mid: the glitch you mentioned also happen in the Nintendo switch version as long you are pass title screen 8, at it happen everytime it did not start with the normal office. I have no check for a while so I do not know if this glitch is fix or not but the last time I played it, they must have patch it.
i cant believe they patched out the real person ending where you can get to dock B. ever since playing the original stanley parable, ive always wanted there to be more to the things around me like spare area in warehouses or a giant loading bay. wish it was used for something. without the jump circle that glitch would be impossible and if they ever patch out the juimp circle glitch ill cry :'3 the jump circle glitch is really useful, and, you can still get to dock B just not the way the video shows. crowsx3 i know youre reading this, give us what we want
when the stanley parable 3 comes out for real, i would love if everything was interactible and had a purpose, even if it takes 40 years to make. itd be better than cyberpunk 2077 THATS for sure
i had a glitch that would cause a different area to appear in the doorway of the starting office, and upon going back and forth, with things despawning and respawning, i fell through the ground. no idea what happened there
It's been fixed in the 1.07 Steam development version. The current live version is 1.06. If you want to test the development branch for stuff that may or may not be fixed, you can select it in the "BETAS" page by right-clicking the game in your Library and going to "Properties..."
yeah, I can see how much time and attention to detail it would take to find minor culling issues or missing textures, I applaud the efforts you would probably be the type to find things like the escape pod and the white room without even looking online lol
Because us gamers are just insane. Though I could see some of these glitches being discovered purely on accident, while others seem to be very intentional.
I feel like the moral of the story is that the power of crouching is so great that it breaks the game
