I like the nerfed specials because it puts more focus on the shooting. But that's just me. Like the bubble was so op, I like how you can fight back against armour if you're good enough but it's just harder
I didn’t like the specials in Splatoon 2 because they didn’t really feel like they help that much. It takes time to accumulate enough points to get the special, so sometimes you die before you can even get it. And when you do get it, it’s pretty underwhelming. Inkjet, Splashdown, and Stingray were basically just a death sentence to use. And Ink Armor is basically useless since you die in like 0.5 seconds anyway. There’s a few I like though. I’m a fan of Tenta Missiles and Booyah Bomb.
