I would listen to WeatherScan every morning while getting ready for school as just a kid instead of watching cartoons. Who so ever put this on you-tube, thank you!! You must understand how great this stuff is and you must understand how poor the decision was for Verizon to remove the Weather Scan Channel. i remember being in the fifth grade, getting ready for school with my little brother and turning on the weather channel. it was a routine we did everyday for about 2 years. I'm 27 now.. god how time flies.
Saw a documentary in the 3rd grade about catastrophic tornadoes and been scared of the weather ever since. Weatherscan used to hold me down because it would always be like “hey, no matter how many tornadoes there are today, there is a 30% chance of rain tomorrow with mainly cloudy skies with temps in the low 70s.” To be young again…

Yea I memorized them too. Back in March though Verizon FiOS pulled The Weather Channel and so Weatherscan went with it, so now I can't listen to it anymore on tv.
Have you ever found yourself watching the Weather Channel for hours just for the music?? this is awesome!! I Swear to God my day is always better if I can get in 15 or 20 minutes of this in a day. It's a fact!! thanks epzik8 for making my life alittle better!! Dig Infinity!! :)

I've been humming ~ 57:00 to myself for years. It always reminded me of the old Sims games back in the day! I'm so glad I found all these nostalgic tracks.
I finally found it. I thought I was crazy for missing when weather channels had music for hours. The amount of nostalgia for when I was a little kid falling asleep to all of these songs is immense. This just made me the happiest I've been in a bit man. This video ever goes away, it'll hurt.
I miss this SO MUCH. I had this on more than regular TV. My husband even noticed. I would also leave this relaxing channel on when we went out for our cats and dogs. My Mom misses it also. Stupid Comcast/Xfinity.
Ohhh the nostalgia I’m now 13 but when I lived in Florida I would listen to this before I go to bed and before I go swimming I would watch this I love smooth jazz so much thank you so much🙂
I here ya brother. I remember sitting here in the Michigan on those days where it was humid as heck and you could hear the storms rolling in from afar. Good times. Good times.
The song that starts at 1:15:03 is the one I remember the most. Brings back so much nostalgia as a kid growing up in the 2000s watching the weather channel while storms were going through the area I was living in at the time. I want those days to come back.
Comcast recently ditched this channel. Does it still exist? It was one of the few things in this world I could count on to be there! That music, those primitive graphics! *heart breaking*
I remember as a kid I used to live about 20 minutes north of Albany, NY and I would watch The Weather Channel continuously after school on the family couch. The nostalgia of seeing the old 2009-2012 weather animations with this music during a late night thunderstorm or an early morning snowstorm is just another feeling I can’t describe. My favorite songs are at 49:07, 0:00. Listening to this takes me back to a decade ago when life was easier. Good times man, good times.
Whenever I traveled by myself and had to stay in a hotel I used to listen to weatherscan throughout my entire stay. Even slept with the tv on listening to it. It was calmed my travel anxiety. I really miss it.
This particular track (along with 5 others on the playlist) was written by a friend of mine, Trammell Starks. Before this playlist there was an earlier version which was made up of 39 tracks all written by Trammell. Excellent music. I own the 3 CD set of his songs and play it at least a couple times a month. :)
Hearing this music as I’m sitting on my parents bed. I smell my dad’s cologne as he walks in with his brown silk vacation shirt. He has his badge shorts & black sunglasses on. I’m a child so I didn’t have to pack my own suitcase yet. I just relaxed as we were loading bags in the car for a another family vacation, watching the fan spin. (I don’t expect anyone to read this) I just wanted to get my memory out 🥺
This is a place of comfort, a place where I can come back and remember the times when Verizon still carried this beautiful gem. I've used this as a means to study for finals, and it will always be very homey to me
One more comment, please....I put this in my favorites. I subscribed. Thank you for this so much. This sounds inane, but this is happy memories for me. Thank you, thank you.
I miss the old Local Forecast. I used to love watching TWC just for the local forecast. I first discovered it in spring of 1995. It's also funny how they have jazz music playing while there are reported severe thunderstorms in an area, and there's a warning scroll. God I love it. I like the song at 45:00
I wonder if there is a way to get them individually. There are a few songs out of the 33 that I like most. I've been looking for this for a few years great job!! 6:16 & 13:19 & 27:00 & 31:10 & 45:13 & 49:02 & 52:02 & 1:32:25 & 1:46:45 & 1:50:36 all of these songs gives me complete life!!! These selections are the best songs on the album hands down!I have been searching for these songs since 2002!
@Levitigus : Your message has been as impactful as the uploader of this music. I consistantly scroll to your message when listening to this over and over for the past year. Thanks for indexing
I miss this channel so much. The information it gave seemed so much more accurate than anywhere else! The music was hypnotic. If my husband and I had to leave the house, I'd leave the channel on for our cats and dogs. Come back, Weatherscan!
I'm a tax preparer along with other occupations and this series of music plays continuously in my office with or without clients present...they have all given a thumbs up for the selection which plays while we review info they brought me or when they pick up their completed returns...I'm listening to it now at home while doing some paperwork on my desk...great concept whoever thought of this...a friend of mine burned a couple of cd's to play in the car...I hope they have this in heaven...I do miss the voiceovers a little bit but they are available on TH-cam if we desire...Comcast should never have removed this feature of the weather as most people just want to know what will the weather be in the future...the music definitely enhances it.
Wow, I love this music so much. Unfortunately, it is not played anymore on the weather channel. I really hope they bring this back. Whoever posted this, thank you so much.
Man 17:3938:4541:53 were the bangers i instantly remembered... But when i heard 57:291:40:27 1:43:44 I was like how could I forget these bangers but then 1:54:57 came and i actually cried this was a guilty pleasure to my ears and i missed it so. Thanks for uploading these and actually putting a smile on my face once more.
In the 90s, my friends and I would be spending the night at each other's houses, and they would be annoyed that I wanted to sleep with TWC on. I'm glad I can look back and say that I appreciated the music even then.
1:10:50 Too much nostalgia. I thought I was weird for liking this music back in the day. Now I see that Is not lol. And whoever uploaded this thank you very much!

Been a fan of this gorgeous music for 6 years now.
doobdoob2 Longer for me! I know which track plays next! lol
Yea I memorized them too. Back in March though Verizon FiOS pulled The Weather Channel and so Weatherscan went with it, so now I can't listen to it anymore on tv.
Others: lo-fi hip-hop beats to study and relax to

The 2007 track line up.
Still the same today, in 2018.
I saw these guys perform at my birthday party. Best night of my life.
This ... & the prevue channel music were so sweet to me as a child growing up in the 1990’s ..
Omg yes 😍
This is the only reason why I miss Comcast digital cable. The Weather Channel!!!...
Makes me feel like it was just yesterday I was a kid waking up to go to school. Its amazing how ingrained so many of these songs are into my memory
and may they forever resonate in your being! May you swim in an ocean of music and be grateful for every moment of life and happiness!!!!!
i’m CRYING. my fucking childhood. the nostalgia from hurricane season, stormy summers, tornado warnings, school mornings. truly FUCK xfinity for taking this away from me. this channel was so peaceful & never had commercials. i’m mad.
I’m surprised I didn’t look this up earlier. I loved these songs. It was a sad day when they removed Weatherscan from Comcast.

Wholesome! Thank you very much!
Weatherman was my favorite out of all of them thanks for finding it for me
I love you
I've been humming ~ 57:00 to myself for years. It always reminded me of the old Sims games back in the day! I'm so glad I found all these nostalgic tracks.
Brandon Wenneborg a very nice back and fourth and beat
Wow it reminds me of the airship level in granstream saga on the PS1
I finally found it. I thought I was crazy for missing when weather channels had music for hours.
The amount of nostalgia for when I was a little kid falling asleep to all of these songs is immense. This just made me the happiest I've been in a bit man. This video ever goes away, it'll hurt.
Wow, it wasn’t just nostalgia…literally every single track on this is a banger
As a kid, I'd go to the weather Channel just to listen to the songs. I loved it.
I love it too, even though the music is on repeat, it never sounds old. Rainy days or sunny days, I love 💕 it.
Good times. Good times.
Smooth jazz is the best. I’ve been listening to Paul Hardcastle and recently came across this. Takes me back to my childhood.
The song that starts at 1:15:03 is the one I remember the most. Brings back so much nostalgia as a kid growing up in the 2000s watching the weather channel while storms were going through the area I was living in at the time.
I want those days to come back.
I'm sorry but somebody HAS to make a V A P O R W A V E mix with these classics.
Peter Says: Hello!

CatSystemCorp , look them up. It’s called Sunday Television great LP.
The nostalgia is out of control.....when I was in middle and high school....omg!!!
Comcast recently ditched this channel. Does it still exist? It was one of the few things in this world I could count on to be there! That music, those primitive graphics! *heart breaking*
@@stormcam4464 It still exists in my market it
There is an online program that does the 4000 version
You can actually still see it. weatherscan.app/
I have always wanted to have this music to fall asleep to. Now I have izzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Andrew Alley saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame
my whole childhood is falling asleep to this and waking up in the morning humming the songs
1:32:23 I love it!!! ...
Oh you gotta love smooth piano jazz! It's better when you play this at night with a soothing breeze outside with your window a bit open
THIS....IS....THE BEST ONE!!!
Song title? Please!
@@godlikegaming6268 capriccio alla turca S.388/R. 125 (ON THEME'S FROM BEETHOVEN'S THE RUINS OF ATHENS)
Back when I was only 12 or 13, these songs that give me tornado warning vibs
I remember as a kid I used to live about 20 minutes north of Albany, NY and I would watch The Weather Channel continuously after school on the family couch. The nostalgia of seeing the old 2009-2012 weather animations with this music during a late night thunderstorm or an early morning snowstorm is just another feeling I can’t describe. My favorite songs are at 49:07, 0:00. Listening to this takes me back to a decade ago when life was easier. Good times man, good times.
Hell yeah I can relate from maryland
I’m from Nashville, Tennessee I live in Los Angeles now 1:55:00 was always my favorite and makes me miss home a lot😔
This is where I got my interest in smooth jazz. Sometimes I like to make up my own local on the 8’s
I feel at home in the comments. Bless whoever shared these. I associate a lot of memories with these songs for some reason. 🥺
Nothing like having my morning coffee, reading the news and listening to Weatherscan to start my day.
I can imagine it now, a muggy summer breeze blowing in my window after a thunderstorm passes and these amazing tunes play in the background :)
Whenever I traveled by myself and had to stay in a hotel I used to listen to weatherscan throughout my entire stay. Even slept with the tv on listening to it. It was calmed my travel anxiety. I really miss it.
This brings back so many memories 🥺
Ikr I miss being a kid no cap 😢
1:32:23 my absolute fave weatherscan song... I miss weatherscan... damn you cox cable!
Comcast got rid of it too!😭😭😭😭
Mine too!! Gives me the chills.
This particular track (along with 5 others on the playlist) was written by a friend of mine, Trammell Starks. Before this playlist there was an earlier version which was made up of 39 tracks all written by Trammell. Excellent music. I own the 3 CD set of his songs and play it at least a couple times a month. :)
Topkatt88 trammel is my cousin
@@robertbeck2604 I'm friends with him on FB and admire his work very much. He's also been an inspiration to my son who writes music.
(I don’t expect anyone to read this) I just wanted to get my memory out 🥺
Memory saved. Save file: 123 TB/ 1 BB
They even use to play some Pink Floyd on the weather channel . Lol at first thought I was hearing things 😂
+Levitigus La Guardia ; yea, I know what u mean. been looking for 49:02 since 2000 myself
+Richard Carthorn ;u got good taste or more accurately speaking, similar taste.
You knew my favorite selection of music!
Hello! I know the name of the song at 13:19 is called "Brighter Days" by Trammell Starks! :)
I'm a tax preparer along with other occupations and this series of music plays continuously in my office with or without clients present...they have all given a thumbs up for the selection which plays while we review info they brought me or when they pick up their completed returns...I'm listening to it now at home while doing some paperwork on my desk...great concept whoever thought of this...a friend of mine burned a couple of cd's to play in the car...I hope they have this in heaven...I do miss the voiceovers a little bit but they are available on TH-cam if we desire...Comcast should never have removed this feature of the weather as most people just want to know what will the weather be in the future...the music definitely enhances it.
literally my childhood (not sure if sad)
sick support plays Silver IV 36LP me to I have a Big phobia of storms and stayed updated on tornado warnings
Wow, I love this music so much. Unfortunately, it is not played anymore on the weather channel. I really hope they bring this back. Whoever posted this, thank you so much.
Weather channel always has the best and soothing music one I remember from when I was a kid is Kenny g song bird
Man 17:39 38:45 41:53 were the bangers i instantly remembered... But when i heard 57:29 1:40:27 1:43:44 I was like how could I forget these bangers but then 1:54:57 came and i actually cried this was a guilty pleasure to my ears and i missed it so. Thanks for uploading these and actually putting a smile on my face once more.
2003 Weather Channel 49:07 omg i cant even put into words how much this song speaks to me
In the 90s, my friends and I would be spending the night at each other's houses, and they would be annoyed that I wanted to sleep with TWC on. I'm glad I can look back and say that I appreciated the music even then.
We played the weather channel for my nephew when he was a baby. It was always effective in putting him to sleep. He's 13 now. How time flies....
When I was little, I always danced to these, I remember jumping on couches so happy. Thank you so much for this video.
Very relaxing
1:10:50 Too much nostalgia. I thought I was weird for liking this music back in the day. Now I see that Is not lol. And whoever uploaded this thank you very much!
Man I thought I was the only one who love listening to these songs lol I used to listen to these all day every day. The memories ❤ I just downloaded these too lol
The last one makes me want to cry 1:55:00 🥺😭 I used to wake up every morning and watch Cartoonetwork, Disney junior, or and or maybe Nick/Nick Jr. But sometimes I would leave it on the weather channel just to hear these songs, specifically the last one, it’s my favorite
Anyone else notice there's a really strong vaporwave feel to some of these?
I used to keep the tv on this channel while I sleep soothing calming
