- In this service call I'm diagnosing a bad variable speed blower ECM Blower motor on a Trane XV95 furnace using the go no go test. There is a special tool they make for this process but all you need is a piece of thermostat wire to get the job done!

I do residential maintenance work every still I like to watch these kinds of videos
Nice👍
Good work, also remember to tell the customer to stop using restrictive filters, this will make the motor go bad as well.
Thanks! Great point👍
Good troubleshooting
thanks!
great video, my name is Paul, i'm curious, this is an ecm 2.3 correct? if so am I correct that this method would only work for the ecm 2.3 model variable speed motor?
Supco ECM test module would have been faster and easier than how you did it its just a plug on molex plug too and if it runs then harness if it didn't then motor easy peasy
oh yeah, I actually have one of those supco testers as well I just wanted to show people how to do it without the tool. Appreciate the feedback and thanks for watching!
Why not show both ways with tool and without then let the viewer decide which way is better for them.
I thought it was to STOP A TRANE
What's is going on.
Good marketing.
Lol
Nobody has that much time on a call to be done all that and no service manager is going to let you spend all that time is money
