I think the 5$ guy was Indian. And 5$ in India is more than 350 Rs/- and it's a good price. He even had many ratings so we can say he earns more than that 210$ guy.😊

They are a bit crap compared to a real Retoucher who brings ideas and composition, that would actually fool you. I’m sad for an industry that’s being commoditised to the cheapest price because eventually, that’s what clients will buy and the craft will be killed off because no one will be allowed to spend more than a couple of hours on a job.
I edit video on fiverr and can say that a starting seller won't get any orders unless he charges 5$ and has some sort of portfolio
It's not that the last dude charges so much that annoys me, it's that he's a verified pro. Verified pros are usually actually really really good. That revision showed how little that guy actually knows about Photoshop, the revision was worse than the original. The $5 dollars guy was genuinely 100x better.

He had just airbrushed in no texture paint into the middle distance. A mistake ,a few of them made. He’s an amateur, pretending to be a professional. There are literally tens of thousands of these kind of people on the photoshop market. What is the really depressing thing, is that most of them don’t KNOW how bad they actually are.

Also you forgot theres a posibility that he take work and pay a 5 dollar guy to do the actual work and then the customer pays out then he keeps the 200 but he takes more risk because if customer is not satisfied he will be the one responsible while the worker has no problem

Funny you should say that... I actually know a guy who does the same thing in programming. He just sends the Instructions from the client to a guy in India and gives him about a third if the money he gets from the client. So hes basically not doing anything and makes good money

Probably did it in less than 2 hours. But if they're smart, doing some cheap work and building their portfolio will make it easier to ask for more later on.

This gives me confidence to raise my photography prices. Everyone around me always tells me I need to charge more for my skill level and I often have people coming to me to redo their photos because the first photographer was bad, but I lack the confidence.

Khizar Ansari I think it’s definitely looks the best. But in my opinion I still think it looks fake. The idea of the composite itself just seems too fake for me, but $25 did a great job.
The first guy was the only one who understood the context of the photo - its the woman that needs to stand out in the photo, not the background.
Large looking mountain is making the woman appear less relevant and diverts most of the attention from foreground to background.

Having a mountain like that in the desert is definitely possible. In Afghanistan currently, and it's very possible to get a shot similar to this with a mountain in the background with snow on it while the subject is standing in desert terrain.
