The Battle of Lake Trasimene (VH Difficulty) - Historical Battles - Rome: Total War

I'm excited to be starting a new series of the Historical Battles in Rome: Total War.

PS: I know and accept that I will get grilled in the comments for saying something wrong about the history of this battle. Feel free to correct me, I'm super rusty on my Punic war history!

If you run your general around the flank of the enemy infantry then back to safety you can cause the “flanks exposed” effect without actually engaging on the flank.

That’s a good trick. This was an especially good battle for using it, with the big block of slow infantry tied up in combat. Will definitely be useful for other historical battles 🫡

The hardest challenge is doing so, while getting Heroic Victories on every level.
