Quality channel that shows what building a budget car is actually like. Other channels "alright guys were building a budget civic." 4 episodes later. "Alright so we got our turbonetics 60mm with a full custom built manifold"
Stg, they be doin shi like that all the time😭
Good to see you back Justin, hope all is well with you. Nice to see that Maxpedingrod is still supporting the channel as well. Stay Safe Brother and Stay Blessed…
I have a 2000 honda civic Gli does anyone know what coilovers will fit? I’ve searched everywhere but my Honda is hard to find parts for
Great tutorial. For those newbies. You dont HAVE to undo the outer tie rod OR the upper control arm. The reason he’s doing it this way is because he did not loosen the strut fork mount. If you can loosen the fork mount before loosening anything else, you can avoid doing all of this extra disassembly because then the strut and fork will split into 2 parts and you will have plenty of space to remove just those 2 components while leaving everything else intact. The second you undo your tie rod or control arm, you HAVE to redo the alignment afterward. If you leave it all alone, you dont have to realign. The more you know..
This is one of the best
Examples of exactly how to install and measure coilovers with a full explanation throughout and all the details that count! keep up the amazing work! 👏👏👏
To save time I've been able to just unbolt the fork on bottom and take the 14 off the fork attached to strut knock fork off strut and unbolt top of strut comes out cleanly without having to take off upper ball joint or tie rod
Nice what about on an Accord
I've done my cars this way too, I haven't had any issues even with stock suspension going in or out by just doing the fork and top bolts.. just gotta pull it out at a good angle
@@Siknan80 it's been a while but if it has a fork like the civics should be the same deal
Im about to tell my mechanic to take a hike! I learned a lot with your videos!
Glad to see you back on brother. Maxspeeding rods definitely stepping their game up. Ride height on the Civic looks amazing. Keep up the great work and providing great enjoyable content.
One of my favorite channels just bought a shirt and decal to support keep up the good work man
Watching your Civic Builds on a Budget and the other Red One recently has been very inspiring to watch. I hope you keep it going. I love both builds you put together.
One thing I like about this channel is how long you don’t post, not in a bad way because I feel like it shows that you have a actual life besides doing yt even tho you have 300k subs which is a lot, and it seems like you still do this for fun and not for the fame or money. I’ve watched you for so long Justin ever since the Miata build, I appreciate you and your content man seriously you deserve better!
Wow it’s been 3 years since you’ve had the civic. Time flies great to see you’re doing well man
Good to see you back. Please please please get onto the Mustang build 🙏
I love the blue black combo. Glad they are improving their product. I need them for a Subaru! You def need some inner and outer tie rods. Good work as always!
Honestly the best person to watch for car related things
This video helped me a lot, made me realize the full function of coils and controls arms while I putted on my truharts. Now I have camber arms otw. I appreciate the the straight forward instructions. Reminds me of my father back in the day.
Dude those coilovers are super nice. They are definitely stepping it up

Wwwayyyy your back buddy .good to see you pop up pal 👍👍👍👍👍
You did more work than was actually needed to do the job. All you had to do was remove the fork bolts first and then remove the upper coilover nuts and everything would have dropped down without struggling so much.
Ayyy our boy justin is back!!! We all miss you man!!!
Puro amor from Neo Mexico to you and yours.
Happiest of Holidays
Glad to see you still have the Blue Beast!

My favorite TH-camr by far, happy new year Justin I hope you and your family had a great holiday
Thank you. Been looking for this video for 4 years now ! 👍
You don't have to remove the upper control arm , nor the tie rods; just remove the fork, and the shock will come out easily. Save time and avoid the possibility of damaging the tie rods or the upper control arm. Overall, great content, my friend.
Nice video. Noticed that besides the tie rod needs replacement so does your LCA bushing where the fork bolts up to!
Coils look sweet bro, be glad when they make em for accords. PS, i never knew you install you coilovers like that. I just remove the lower fork to remove the coil. that way it comes out without taking the top control arm bolt out
Great video just what I needed to see since im going to be installing coilovers for my first time
Thanks for the great channel, can't wait to see the Eclipse!
Glad I just subscribed. This channel is great. Justin is doing a great job.
Did you start rollin right as the coils got dropped off?? Amazon dipped at the beginning lol. Those new maxxyPs, look nice tho. Mine are getting tired after almost 3yrs lol.
Don't forget to put cotter pins on the tie rod and upper control arm
Very good channel but to save urself the hassle on taken out the camber arm nut and the outer rod jus take off the bottom fork bolt the small bolt on the top of the fork at the bak comes out way easier 👍🏻
Yes. Mustang update please.
Happy New Year Man,
Happy new year 🥳

Tb, I still want to do that paint job on my EG 🥵, y thank you so much I’m about to put Truharts on my civic as well.
Way better ride!!!! Great video
Really good video, my Civic needs upgrade in near future ty!
Hey Justin did you ever fix the hail damage on your blue civic
Good to see you brother
Great video! I miss this a blue turbo Civic. Is there anyway you can let MaxSpeeding Rods know that the coilovers for the 4th and 5th gen Prelude have the wrong size studs (way too big), and 2 extra studs that don't fit anywhere?
They refunded me $20 but I lost over $180. They seem to do well with the Civics, but the one for the Prelude doesn't fit at all. If they can fix that I'll consider repurchasing.
If you just take the three bolts, out that hold the fork first and remove it on the car. Then remove top 2 strut bolts, strut assembly will come out with ease.
Happy new year and God bless
love to see the car at klean meet. Not trying to plug but If I end up going then ill be at a booth for nightxcruise
