    Please advise what size of a screwdriver is required to remove the two screws at the beginning. My Y000 screwdriver does not work for some reason on them. Other screws come off easily

    Does the new battery needs to be reprogrammed or something? I’ve seen some use an programmer type thing for replacement screen and batteries

      Every baterry different than the one in your phone will be recognized as non-genuine. You have to cut off and swap the baterry bms board. Then reprogram it back to 100%, unfortunately this is also not possible because of the flex cable that doesnt allow that, so maybe swap the flex cable from bms or buy some tag on flex to program it back to 100%. Finally, you have swapped the baterry without the error message. Thanks apple...

    Will the software recognize this battery that you linked on ali express as a genuine battery or will it give a warning of an ungenuine battery?

      Every baterry different than the one in your phone will be recognized as non-genuine. You have to cut off and swap the baterry bms board.       The battery is not to bad, neither is the screen, the back glass is probably the worst

    Thinking to change my battery after 4 years usage but at apple authorize. Just wanna ask, since 11 Pro max had a glossy stainless steel frame, will the frame scratch from opening the backdoor process? My phone even after 4 years still look pristine with no scracth at all on the stainless steel frame.

      i just got mine replaced at apple. no changes or scratches depend how they handle it. i have kept mine in a case and screen protector since day 1. People buying new phones are chumps.

      @@Waly_Rabz I’ve been handling my phone very careful for around 4 years, my phone still looks like new only the battery already on 75% (need to charge twice a day), minor to almost no scratch on the frame. I just worried when they open from the frame, they’ll scratch my frame 🥲

      Every iPhone battery can be replaced. Just no battery health will be shown in the settings.. But battery percentage will show for daily usage. Not a big deal. Just replace battery every 3 years or when it doesn't last like it used to.

    So you took old battery out and put old battery back in? I watched this to find out about the battery health warning but if you're just going to put the old battery back in I guess you don't have to worry about such things.

      If you order a kit that has the gasket that goes along the perimeter of the phone (as shown in vid), then you retain waterproof ability of phone

    Can you install Iphone 11pro max battery on Iphone XS Max ?? Both batteries are the same shape and physical size but 11pro max has better and longer lasting battery ! If someone tried this please share your experience ! Thank you !

      Tried it on Xs max with original 11 pro max battery.
      It completely got ruined. The phone got hot randomly and random shut downs and random restart.
      I thought I broke my phone but after that i purchased original xs max battery and put that it and luckily I was back to properly functioning device.
      PLEASE NEVER DO THAT.!!!!

      Mine is at 92% I been debating myself when to do it, if I should open the device and have a fresh battery or let it go as long as I can to keep the phone unopened, if that makes sense.

      @@thetechlibrarian I don’t recommend replacing a 92% battery, especially because the replacing process is risky and can leave you needing new parts or even just destroy your phone entirely. My 11 Pro Max battery is at 84% because I used my phone recklessly and it still lasts the 11 hours a day I use it.

    My 11 pro max battery health is at 95%. I bought it on day of release 20-09-2019.
    - I always fast charge between 20-80%
    - I use wired Apple carplay alot
    - sometimes wireless charge with 5watt charger.

      It doesn’t matter how good you take care of the battery the battery will still lose percentage but taking care of your battery willl last longer than people who don’t take care of their batteries

      i have had mine since around the end of 2019 and i have 81% hahahaha probably because i play graphics intensive games which whittle down the battery quickly and i always fast charge it. i think i have around 350 battery cycles

      Mine is at 91%. This is because you should not be letting your phone battery drain COMPLETELY or near completely. You should be charging it throughout the day whenever you get the chance. Draining the phone battery to 0% and then charging it damages the battery capacity.

      @@user-hh9jc9hs8f 20% to 80%only. Use a mechanical timer when charging overnight and know the minutes and hours to charge for a certain battery percentage left. Fast charger is the best as long as you dont charge over 80% and not let your phone drain below 20%

      It’s really not that difficult. You’re wise to not attempt it though if you seriously think you’re gonna mess this up, but you’d have to do something extremely stupid for this to go wrong. Just take your time, watch step by step as you’re doing it if you have to.

      Yes it does, once you take it apart it will lose its water resistance but not dust since that is probably just a coating.
