Thank you for a straight forward video. Never attempted anything like this before and just managed to fix my daughters phone following your instructions. A1.
I was in the process of following this tutorial, I have gotten to the section where youve disconnected the battery. As I prepare to remove the logic board, ive noticed that 2 of the 5 screws are blocked by a metal bracket at the very edge of the phone (near the power button) any ideas on how to remove it?
As far as I know by looking at other videos you used to loose true tone unless you get the replacement screen reprogrammed with the serial number from the original screen (which required special equipment). However iOS 18 seem to change this: th-cam.com/video/RB0GwRwZTJM/w-d-xo.html
When I got mine fixed my screen was popping and came off the person refused to take it back in and fix it. I had to take loss because I probably need a replacement screen and someone to put it on.
hi, do you have any tips to get the tool between the screen and the phone at the beginning? ive tried heating it to soften the adhesive. mine will not go as easy as yours does lol edit: done it using a stanley blade to get inbetween the screen and the phone
great everything was explained perfectly , just fixed my 11 pro max with these instructions (two thumbs up)

It is a very helpful video indeed, thank you so much. I am only curious to know that you didn't use a waterproof seal for the phone

About the gluing the new display.. the glue comes already with it ?
Why u didn't change the adhesive which protects water and dust as u'd said from going into the phone?
Thanks bro!!

Do you lose True Tone if you replace the screen

Well done!
what about cleaning the old glue and applying new glue?
How did you solve the "Ture Tong" and "Unknown Part" pop-ups after the screen change? Feel free to share.
True tone wont work on a 3rd party screen you’ll need an apple replacement for that
@@alienxotic5028 I think you could get it back you just need to get the screen reprogrammed
what could i do if the some of the screws are rounded?
Solid tutorial 😊
Amazing video my friend! Keep up the good work
Dont comment much, but very clear and to the point video, btw what adhesive did you use for the screen to stay connected to the body?

Do the new screens come with the adhesive that you are taking apart from the old screen?

Faceid?
will it still have face id or true tone if you DIY
FaceID: Yes, True Tone: No
Does apple still say Face ID not available when you change the screen
Thank you very much
Why turn the phone upside down when it powers on? 🤔 Perfect replacement with no issues, I'm sure...
Thank you 💪🏿💪🏿
What can I use if the screw is damaged / stripped the screwdriver won't fit into the screws to detach the screen
u need a screw extractor.. since iphone use many kind of screw, u need to replace exactly same size with the original one. or u will get into trouble.
Good video, learn a lot of useful

Try a playing card.
