You can boot the phone through a power supply with 4.2V
I saw a tutorial about how to use the Qianli programmer tool and at the end they leave the tiny board connected to the battery but you take it off.

Hi, you can leave no problem but, the tiny board can cause issues like the phone won’t charge when it’s fully discharged (turned off).
With or without the tiny board it’s the same but, for less issues in the future I remove it.
You should leave it…because if you took it out…the reading will reset later on…but many took them out for cost/profit
@@LeeMooEez no, not for profit only, many cases where the phones battery died and they couldn’t charge the phone from zero.
Also many cases where there was a software issue and they couldn’t restore the phone because there was an error during the restore process.

My soldering iron is rated at 900 degrees and is not adjustable. Should a purchase another iron before attempting this?
Yes, you need to get an adjustable soldering iron.

You can try connecting it to the phone and plug in the charger.

when reset/restore, it means no more battery health and error reveal??? so 2nd owner will notice that battery is replaced… ??? i am right???

Take it to experienced technicians. This looks pretty rough and prone to causing damage if you’re not experienced.

he say - activation. But actualy i think He enable or switch on BMS. Like all BMS works samalery.
To activate it because when you disconnect the bms it will deactivate the battery/bms

Все залежить від батареї яку вам поставлять, так як китайські батареї різні.

Starting to hate apple with all this crap. I’m used to change the batteries of my iPhones since the first one. But, in the past years I had changed my phone often. This time I had to change the battery of a family member, assuming it was as it has always been, annoying but easy. And had to buy another screwdriver (Y) for some stupid screws, and at the end once I started the phone I got the “unknown piece” instead of the quality % of the battery. Only to find out that it’s now impossible for the home user to do this job and get the phone with 100% of its sold characteristics and that now you’re forced to go to apple for service or spend a ton in devices you’ll only use once and make some Frankenstein pieces with the old and new ones.
Ridiculous.
This “you’ll own nothing, and be happy” is bs, and it’s time we fight for our ownership rights and the right to repair our stuff.
