Good video, its a right scunner when doing jobs like that pipe and you spend ages getting it on only to find a leak and need to take one or both ends off to cure it then have the pain of trying to refit it.
Don't worry Ali .we all have are off days .. The problem with that excavator if you had not spent the time to identify the problem. Then you know it would come back to haunt you ... Don't think you have limitations. You have information to hand on your Dooson equipment. Probably if you had more information on that dumper it would have been a different story. .right call though not to spend to long on it trying to fix the problem. .some of those hydraulic pipe problems are very awkward to replace ..👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hi Ali when I worked for Scania recently they have a service schedule to replace the belt, tensioner and idlers. As obviously they fail if not changed. On the smaller 7ltr engines they even replace the turbos??? And as one of the other comments says Scanias have a nasty habit of top liner seals going and seats having to be recut. Keep up the good work from another heavy plant fitter
Them deutz engines won’t fire up if the fuel pumps not running. Small black relay in the corner of the fuse box, replace it be burnt out and then you’ll be away 😅
Deutz engine won't crank till lift pump pressures up the low pressure side. Fed by the ECu via a relay. If you gave the lift pump power it would probably crank Ali
Scania's are prone to top liner seals leaking that appears like a head gasket leak also I've changed a couple of Egr coolers that were passing water internally.
Not cranking or crank no start? Is it the same model/deutz engine al was working on? If no crank check the neutral 1 relay and electric fuel pump relay to start with.The hourmeter will also throw up any faultcodes present.You can also maybe check the main wiring loom between the fuse box and the ECU it rubs off a ridge on the side of the transmission(gearstick side).
