Randy deserves the "Golden Power Washer" award! He always does an outstanding job! Always nice to watch something different! Great video! Stay safe. Thumbs up! Jim
We still have a Woodmizer LT40 from 2001. It sits most the time and can cause issues. We did have a control board issue for the head travel down the rail. Woodmizer was very helpful on the troubleshooting it, and prices are reasonable!! Wish all brands were more like them.
Being a woodworker first myself, it's fun to watch a sawyer/mill working. But I have to say there's something different, something missing, from watching Emerald and Jade on Lumber Capital Log Yard. I can't quite figure it out though.
I’ve never commented on a TH-cam video but when Tucker said “if your switch isn’t working, it’s probably a bad switch” I nearly choked on my coffee! Well done young man.
Cool watching you guys bring the Woodmizer back to life. Also on a personal note wanted to give a shout out to C&C for their customer service. I ordered a shirt a few weeks back and there was a mix up at my post office and long story short it got sent back. I have been super busy lately and had not had a chance to resolve the issue. Yesterday I get a phone call from C&C equipment about my order and resolved the issue without it costing me any more even tho the problem was on my end and not theirs. I just wanted to say thank you guys.
Nathan at Out of the Woods, had a smaller version and then bought this model. He talked about how he had to go to classes in order for them to sell him one so he would know how to operate it.
Here in Australia we have BEARING BUDDIES for boat trailers and they are removable for servicing the bearings, but absolutely keep salt or fresh water out. You don’t have to replace them each time either they are pretty much a fit and forget item for the trailer life unless damaged by bad driving into things you shouldn’t. 😵💫😵💫🤣
Video interessante ,pour cette machine a bois ! recherche de panne ,entretien ,remise en route et essai satisfaisant ! C'est bien de découvrir des engins différents !! Travail toujours sérieux ! on attends la prochaine vidéo !
No complaints on your sawmill abilities! Worked with a friend for several years off bearing for him when he sawed on an older Woodmizer, great saws, wish I had one! Keep the videos rolling bub!
There's a lot of hammer and axe handles in that block of hickory. Hickory is not only hard it's very resilient and springs back into shape after blows with a hammer, axe or maul. That mill is a nice piece of equipment but the prior owners never maintained it properly. They used it until too many things broke and wouldn't work anymore. Youse guys did a nice job of bringing it back to life as usual. I watch a few of those log milling channels every so often. It's pretty interesting when they find some rare type of wood and are able to get some nice pieces out of a log. Gotta go over the wood with a metal detecting device before running a blade into it. Great video, very interesting.
I dont know what it is but theres something calming and peaceful watching you all work even though it can get hectic in the shop its still serene in some way. Also by far the best mechanic Channel I have watched for explaining not only what you are doing but why you are doing it. It may not be a 1:1 tutorial or how to guide but I have learned a lot by watching yalls videos. Clint reminds me of my dad which for me is the highest complement I can give as he passed in 2009 but yall woulda definitely been buddies. I dont even work on heavy equipment but I thoroughly enjoy watching you all work and the way you operate the shop. Great Videos and please keep them coming!
@@SuEnRoDso if he gets in your happy to pay higher prices for parts ! Not good for business which in turn you have to charge to your clients! Not good for!
You have to watch reap what you saw. He’s got a really nice set up with the wood miser saw started off with a small machine and now he’s going big used to do it by himself now he’s got a couple guys working for him.
Good job Guys, that looks to be a good saw mill for someone with all the new parts, and a service. It does not look like it has had too much work in the past. I do like the Woodmizer System.
Did you know the biggest population of Bald Eagles in the world is actually in Canada. We're im at Nova Scotia we have an eagle festival we all go to Annapolis Valley and watch eagle in the 100's it's very impressive.
The variety of repairs on all kinds of different equipment it the big Draw for me to your Channel you never know what Clint and the boys will be up to next ,maybe they will take us Deer hunting next
Hey Clint & ALL Crew !!! Great to see an abused piece of equipment put back into use !! Hopefully you can find a buyer who will take care of it ?? 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for mixing it up a little. I found it very interesting. They have come a long way with those machines. The last one I messed with ran off a tractor P.T.O. way back in the 80"s. 😂
I've seen video's of the woodmizers being used but to see all the detail how and what does work it's a top class machine.keeping it lubed up and in running condition is a must.keeping it covered or inside wood hold its value for years.very good video. Thanks for another it's done right video.
Randy's not about the camera, he's all about the work. GO FOR IT RANDY - - - That's an Old School Dude right there. . . . None Better - - - Get Ya Some Randy ! !
That is one complicated saw compared to the 27” we just purchased. It has lots great features but lots of things to go wrong. Perhaps with good maintenance, reliability will be ok. The diesel power doesn’t seem to do things any faster than our gas single banger. I guess it depends on the use, ours is not for commercial production but yours clearly is for a commercial use IMHO. You folks did an awesome job of problem solving, like always, to get it operational and make sawdust.
I owned a ‘97 LT40 Super Hydraulic for about 25 years but I sold it three years ago. I probably need to buy another mill but I may be too old for that line of work anymore.
Actually saw a flail manure spreader taken apart and having full new bin made for it including the new shaft for the chains all turned on a huge lathe that had a hole through the wall to accommodate the longest things and they would pass through the head of the machine and they could get bearings and oil seals for anything
You’re welcome, really enjoyed the video. A little different to your usual content which is also really good. More of the same please Regards from Cyprus
Like it when you have different things in it helps to show that you will repair anything that comes in like a place I use to go to get metal and welding supply they were in a long nisunsheed with old machines but they would repair and make new parts they were Massey Ferguson tractor dealers and repair shop
Another Great Show!! Your getting better & better at making these videos!! I'm a loyal and Faithfull Watcher/Fan and want to Thank You for always making every video "Family Friendly"!!! Now I am going to try the link area to catch up on past missed shows. Yes I Hit The Like Button!!!
I've looked at Woodmizer saws for a while. That one is a Cadillac even though it's an older one. Also checked out the Hub Hugger. A great idea and reasonable priced. Outstanding video, love the troubleshooting side. Working through problems and getting them fixed.
Clint, Tucker needs that, if he doesn't think Dad's paying enough, On weekends he can sell Black Walnut, Cherry, Oak, and Hickory Special Order ONLY I have a friend who used to sell a lot of wood to local craftsman, but like all of us age caught up with him
Man, that sawmill is a dream! Those things are like $80k new.
Loved how you helped another home town company out we have to buy Hometown stuff to keep America alive.
Thank you for giving Randy a shout out

C&C diversifying again, trailers, monster trucks and now saw mills, brilliant advert for a company. Bring whatever in and we'll fix it. 👍
Hub huggers; damn, what A hell of an idea👍
I like how you communicate…Or actually how little you say but get so much done with so few words 👍🏻🤩😁
This Australian loves the ute idea!
My Australian 39 Chev Ute is a full body and not a fiat tray and has the original wooden floor boards.
I have a Woodmizer also, great machine, great company to deal with. I highly recommend them. Ron

I’d say them there Hub-Huggers is a darn good product will save a lot on the machine 👍😎🇺🇸 NY
For the Hubby huggers: boat trailers would be an ideal place to use them.

Take that thing to western NC, saw up downed trees to make lumber for people to rebuild with.

Now you will be able to make Mrs. C that live edge table she's always eyeing in Florida on the auction.....
Woodmizer folks are awesome. Great to to work with. One note, they recommend using ATF for lube. Doesn't hold the dust and grime like normal lube.
A break from election day is welcome but still VOTE!!!!!
They claim men's voting is down 10% from women's, not good.

For as hard as hickory is and as dry as that log was the mill moved through it very well
