Tried to include a bit of theory in this reupload, so I hope you'll find it useful. I was reading a bit about the intro and lot of people are analysing it differently. So, how it's shown in this video might not be 100% correct. It just made the most sense to me. The interlude/ending part is another modulation and very similar to the intro in terms of borrowing chords from parallel major/minor keys
Man, I was just watching the old video of John showing how to play this. I realized in that video he throws so stuff that isn't in the recording in. This looks very very close to the recording. Good work. I really liked that you put the circle of fifths stuff in here too. Keep up the great guitar content.
Ive been watching your videos for the past couple years, thanks for all the content, i cant count how many times ive rewatched. i could have lied solo tabs lol
This is the best tutorial on "Under the Bridge," and you didn't have to say a word. The click. The tab. The clear picture zoomed in perfectly. The circle of fifths. All of this makes the video so helpful. I also learned from your video how to use the thumb on those B chords instead of a straight bar because it makes the hammer on and pull off so much easier. Really great job! Thanks so much!
Awesom F'n job Nikola. I appreciate your attention to important details that most miss when publishing a video lesson on Utube. It's all 100% there you missed absolutely nothing. Thank you for the upload dude
I found 2:15 john actually plays the 2nd and 3rd strums differently. First strum is as shown...then the index finger goes to the 9th fret on what is believe is the E string and the other note is ditched. You can see him do it in the live acoustic recording. Listen to the song too and you'll notice the slight change.
Thank you very much again for your dedication and generosity. But even with the ready-made solution that you offer here with your perfect tutorials, I'm too bad at guitar to reproduce, despite time and effort. It's frustrating. You are the best Mister
man i think i have spoiled myself with the hendrix technique of barre chords..for some reason im finding the switch at 0:08 to the F# pretty tricky because i have almost forgotten the normal way of holding barre chords :( .....excellent tutorial as always!
Thank you so much for the video! There's a b-side called Stray Time In The 80's, which I haven't found a tab for. If you could do a video for that, it would be highly appreciated!
How do i learn to play the B chord in the chorus with the fingering youre using? Ive tried and tried. On my Gretsch no dice. Maybe itd be easier on a Strat? 😮
You do all your hamer-on with the little finger in the verses 2 and 3, I found it's so hard in the lowest strings 😬, my smallets finger miss the string in 50% of cases (it hits the wrong string). Why you don't bar the chords ? Then it's possible to use another finger for the hamers
Currently in the process of learning this song and this video is amazing! I’m currently having trouble with the Hendrix style embellishments while keeping the chords held. Does anybody have any tips on how to better do the embellishments?
Try doing embellishments without holding the chord, so play what is needed with holding a chord then change your hand position slightly to embellish so it's easier and then go back to the chord. Keep practicing with having your fretting hand as relaxed as possible. Practice slowly. In the end you'll become used to it.

I’m the same. Ironically though, it was copying Frusciante that did it for me.
How about a series on slane castle from beginning to end 🤔🤔

Hi Nikola! Could you please consider doing The Bends lesson? Especially Jonny's part?..
Thank you so much for the video! There's a b-side called Stray Time In The 80's, which I haven't found a tab for. If you could do a video for that, it would be highly appreciated!

We need videos on Frusciante's tone! You're always so close.
