    You know I saw one of these and said I've never seen one bird coop so thoughtfully made with the chicken eggs being collected from outside, and ll the run for the chickens. I wondered how it was made and lucky me you're making one.
    Fantastic to watch you both skillled in this area working that nesting box together. See you again. Lilian

    Love a good multi purpose table, lol! I feel like we have the chargers and batteries everywhere around the house. Now it looks like a legit coop!!!! Eeekk you are so close!! The ending, you two are so cute!

      It's taking us a bit to build it but it's great to see it coming together!

    Coming together real nice! Those Dewalt nailers crack me up with that wind down noise they make after driving the nail. My Ryobi is quick and instant with it using air instead of the spring mechanism. Either way gets the job done way easier than a hammer!

      Thanks Don! Yea, that is a funny wind down noise. And totally agree, much better and faster than a hammer.

    Nice! Good job! We will be looking to make a mobile coop out of a pop up camper frame so we can pull it around our homestead with out tractor or truck. Right now we just want them out of our barn! LOL Keep up the good work! 👍

    The new coop is looking awesome! Lumber prices are so ridiculous right now. I paid $5 for an 8 ft. 2 x 4 a couple weeks ago. Usually they're more like $2. Plywood sometimes we can't find. Makes it difficult to do a lot of projects!

      Thanks Lynette! Yes, prices are ridiculous! But we need to finish this coop.

    Ema, it looks awesome! Love the idea of the French doors at the back. We bought the chicken guard automatic chicken door. It had great reviews. Wood is really expensive here in Canada too. You use the saw like a PRO! Oh no, what broke?

    • @SonniesPlace
      @SonniesPlace  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Sheri (I hope I spelled that right)! I'll look into the chicken guard door. I'd love to get something solar powered so I don't have to do it manually. How do you like yours so far?

      Hello! We haven’t installed it yet! Stupid Canadian weather is freezing temps with snow! 🤣

      @@GardeningintheNorth Right?! Not quite as cold here but still lots of nights in the low 20s. Oh, I forgot to tell you it was a drill bit that broke. I get annoyed when it happens but we have lots of extras for this reason.

    You two work well together, my hubby and I would probably have ended up in a big fight within 5 minutes LOL WOW that nail gun did a good job but it is a bit loud... I usually like DeWalt

    • @SonniesPlace

      Thanks! We have our moments but we’ve been working together on this coop for a while so that’s helped us get used to each other and our work ‘style.’ The nailer is a bit loud but it’s going to come in quite handy for future projects. 👍🏼
