I think “spoiling” your children is such a subjective thing. Growing up, I was technically “spoiled” meaning I got a lot of what I asked for but I’ve always been practical as a kid. And my parents knew I always had all A’s and I was well behaved but they also established a rules that if I got new shoes or clothes or something like that, I had to get rid of something to get it. Which was fair, I got new stuff and I didn’t creat clutter. Also, costed is not a word. Autocorrect even said so. the past present and future tense for cost are all the same.
Honestly, I was pretty “spoiled” in terms of being able to get a toy probably like every second time I went to the store with my parents, but I wasn’t like a “spoiled brat”. And not huge toys, but like a Barbie or something. The difference was that I knew I was blessed and my family was blessed, that my parents were able to do that for my sister and I. My parents also knew that I was a really good girl, and wanted to reward me with small things like that. With that said, I don’t think there’s anything wrong if you do that with Cove! As long as she is a nice girl, not bragging to her friends or anything like that, and she knows she is very blessed, I don’t think there is anything wrong with it! You guys don’t need to defend yourselves.
I think Aspyn doesn't have "first time mom anxiety" because she's a big sister amd there's a pretty big age difference with her youngest siblings, so she knows her way around babies and has probably already taken care of babies.Like I'm not saying being a big sister is anything like being a mom, but she already has some experience and most first time moms don't have that
Love that you addressed the color scheme question! I feel like a lot of people assume that but you buy things that fit with your life style & colors that you LIKE! Not what ‘fits your aesthetic’ just to fit the aesthetic!!

I love that you mentioned that whether you raise a baby vegan or non-vegan you’re still making the choice for them, and the important thing is letting them make the choice when they’re older. So long as your baby is healthy and happy it shouldn’t matter!
i might have missed it but do you have a video on how you sleep trained cove? if not can you talk about it? i have a 4 week old and i’m really trying to sleep train her. she sleeps for 3 and a half hour stretches at night, which isn’t too bad for a newborn but i could definitely go for more sleep!
One key thing to keep in mind is the difference between spoiled and letting her get what ever she wants. Kids will pick up on that super quick. It’s all based on how they act and the attitude within. Don’t be afraid to tell her no. It’s important that she knows the difference as well
I loved dressing my little girl when she allowed me to pick, then she turned two and had a mega opinion on it lol so as to not make it into a battle I do let her choose and express herself through clothes and yes she did choose the ‘rainbow sparkle unicorn style’ as i call it for a while but then she got it out of her system and now she has the cutest sense of style and I love to see what she chooses! But those baby days when you can choose the colors you like are the best 💖 it’s like having a real doll to dress. And I love the colors you choose!👌🏼
i did blw with my daughter and loved it, she picked it up super fast and eats so well!! sometimes when we’re in a rush i’ll feed her but 90% of the time she’s feeding herself!
Has she ever told what system they used for sleeping? I’m wondering if it was the Taking Cara Babies class, or what they did! We are having our first soon and I’m really interested in sleep training! Parker is literally me with the Sleep routines and exactly what you have to do every time🤣 but since we have had our second son my boyfriend puts down our 1 year old while I do night routine with our newest baby and now I'm out of the loop on my 1 year olds night time routine and if I try to do it I mess it up and my bf corrects me now🤣 the tables have turned LOL
Totally agree with the dad putting baby down it’s so much easier to have daddy put her down for some reason?! I get up with her, he puts her to sleep so it works for us!
I always let my kids play with toys while shopping to keep them occupied and then I put them on a shelf on the way to check out and they’ve already forgotten they were in the cart😬 same thing with my 3 year old....she loves to shop so I let her put stuff in the cart and then take it back out and she doesn’t even notice lol. Whatever keeps them happy while trying to get things done!

As far as being go with the flow when it comes to cove's schedule I think it's better to be more strict since shes so young
